11.13 Invisible Scars of a King

A/n: sorry for the late update... In the past two days, I really hang up reading a novel, it was a translation titled "Lucia". You can check it out here in Wattpad, though it was long that take me two days to finish, it was really worth reading. The story made me laugh (really, all my time reading it. I was laughing out loud that my parents stared at me like I was a lunatic) and want to keep on reading 'til the end. If you had read the novel "Ruyi" by Ha Rui, the story was a bit similar, like possessive male lead and selfless heroine but to fact that it's only a "bit similar", the story had it's own charm that you would want to read more.
I already have  this chapter in my mind in two days but I can't type it because I really want to finish first my reading.. so I already done, here you go another chapter.😁

"Hey? Let's go." Sara called Lilac after they stop in front of his father's house.

Lilac sighed inwardly inside his heart. Until the end it was Sara's decision who finally won to go to his father's house. If it wasn't for Yue warning that the male lead and female lead had brewing a plan against him and his Sara.

        Thinking about that bastard and bitch made him sick. Really, they are match made in heaven.

Sara wear a simple sleeve less dress above the knee. The blue dress had imprinted with different white and dark pink flowers that added some fresh looks on the dress. Sara's hair is tied in pigtail that heightened a refreshing look on her youthfulness.

"Wait," Lilac called and pick something inside her bag. Before could Sara knew it, her eyes were covered with eyeglasses.

"Wear this," he handed her a small box. When she open it, she glared at Lilac to see a retainers.

"Lilac this is to much! Do you want them to humiliate me in front of you?!"

"No, they won't humiliate you. But if they can see that you're beautiful, I'm afraid that we'll have a trouble in getting away from here," he overreacted. He can't help it, this girl in front of him is too adorable without eyeglasses.

"I don't like it. I will just wear the eyeglasses," she kissed his cheek.

  Lilac sighed once again. After letting a guard to park his car, he walk with Sara side by side while holding her hand.

          In the dining room waits his father with his wife. On the other side, sit Carl with Sonia on his side.

"Good evening, ladies and gentlemen," he said in courtesy. After the incidence, he stopped calling his father, father. He called him either Mr. Tucker or Sir which he doesn't mind.

Sonia throws Sara an envy look when she saw Lilac pulled a chair for her. He sat beside her and smiled at her.

"Can you introduce your girlfriend to us, brother," Carl said with a mocking smile. Lilac glanced coldly at his supposed half brother then at his father whose eyes is anticipating.

"This is Sara Maple Hunter, my girlfriend,"

"Hunter? I don't remember any company whose associated with that last name," his step mother said with underlying tone.

"You bet. If I would have a relationship, I make sure that she have a strong backing. Like Sonia here, who recently found as the daughter of a wealthy family," Carl ridicules.

Sara's hands grip tighten around her fork and knife. Lilac eat his food with a relax posture. He held her hand and sign her to eat. It is a waste of food if they accidentally lost their appetite just because of nonsense words.

[Host. Your wine and your lover's wine has been drugged with aphrodisiac]

Change it with those two lead's wine. Lilac command. He sighed, why did it become a common sense in this kind of drama to use such kind of drugs?

[Yes host. It's already done]

"Why do you keep your mouth shut? Is it true then? Huh! A son of a low class woman will only fall in same low class girl," his step mother keep on ridiculing both of them. The moment she says those words, Lilac had already finished his foods and drank his wine to Sonia's joy while both of her and Carl took a sip in their own with a smile on their lips.

"Well, if you excuse me ma'am. I'd rather be a low class girl just to keep my manners in check than to be a high class woman whose manner is on the bottom feet of this lower class girl," Sara said calmly.

A proud smile crept up on Lilac's face as he held her hand. Mr.Tucker hit the table with his fist.

"Boy, should you control the mouth of your woman,"

"I would but in a condition that you control the petty mouth of your family, Sir," Lilac calmly said.

It's only a matter of time that Sonia and Carl both feel hot because of the drugs.

"I feel so hot," Sonia moan.

"Father, I believed we've been drugged," Carl said and glared at Lilac.

"What's the meaning of this?!" Mr. Tucker roared at Lilac.

He just shrugged and faint confused. "What? We just came by and the food is already prepared. You can't accused us,"

Mr. Tucker called for maids and guard to send the two in their room. "I'm disappointed in you," he pointed at him.

A mocking smile form in Lilac's face. "What's new? Take a look at the surveillance first before you conclude, Sir. You're ruining my reputation without any concrete evidence,"

Sonia who heard these paled. But she was weak due to drug to say something about it.

"I should have your mother abort you when you're just inside her," he glared.

Lilac smiled. It's too late to amend anything that is broken. "Well, you're twenty years too late. Thank you for the food, Sir. We're off"

He took Sara's hand and guide her outside the mansion. "I'm hungry," Sara whine.

He chuckles. "Then why won't you finish your food?"

"With your kind of family and how those two stared at us like we are fresh meats. I'm afraid those foods are poisoned,"

Lilac can't help but burst out laughing. If it wasn't for the cheat (Yue) they might be drugged.

"No poison is much more dangerous than degrading words. If that words can affect me before, I'm afraid even my soul is beyond redeemable,"

Sara intertwined their fingers and gazed at him. "As long I'm here, I won't let you down,"

"Hmm. Then hurry up and I will cook your favorite food. I don't want our child to starve,"

"You sure, there's a child inside?"

He grinned. "Looks like you never know your lessons"

      Remembering his strong stamina. Sara can only blushed at him.
