14.9 Emotionless Knight

It took 10 minutes for Lissana regain her consciousness and when she does. She heard Brent said that she is his fiancée and her husband spat out.

"I don't remember my wife having an ugly fiancé like you",

A wry smile formed her lips as headache start to form on her head. 

Husband, did you just insult your former self? Well it doesn't matter, whenever body my husband takes he would always handsome in my eyes and those not are the ugly ones. She nod to herself.

"N-Nathan, a little help here?" she mumbles in a whisper. Every part of her body is aching due to the impact, she's only fortunate that Yue reacted fast and shielded her slightly from the blow or this world's mission is over.

On cue, Nathan eyes went on her and carefully carried her in his arms.

"Hey! Put her down, she's my fiancée!" Brent retorted but he stop when Lissana's cold eyes went on him. "If I remember correctly, you broke our engagement before the apocalypse and married someone else. I still consider you as friend with our short reunion but that's all. Please don't forget that", she said apathetically. "Carry me to my room", she asked Nathan feeling already exhausted, first from the confusion that forming inside her with Brent and Nathan. Was this the original body's emotional residue to the new male lead?

"Are you okay?" Nathan asked her worriedly as he sat like a lost puppy beside her after putting her on the bed.

"No", Lissana said monotonously. She's frustrated with this body's response with her husband. She cough twice and tried to find a way out. "No one could be still okay after that impact, you know. But to lessen your worries, I can still manage to ignore the pain I think", yeah. With fractured sternum , broken left thigh bone and a messed up arms that could take months to heal. Nothing to worry about.

Nathan bow his head, not wanting to show the grim of his face. "I'm sorry, I am careless. I supposed to protect you but end up hurting you with my clumsiness",

Lissana who was already used to the sweetness of husband tried to raise her hand to caressed his hair but ultimately failed because of the broken bones. She hissed in pain and was about to put down her hand when Nathan caught it with his own. He held her hand as much as gentle as he can and kissed it. Her eyes begin to soften when Nathan do something more kissing. He suck her fingers much to her horror. Does he going to eat her because she smell so bloody?

"What are you doing?" trying to take her hand of him but the pleasure and pain that he brought to her were preventing her to stop him.

"I'm trying to heal you, this is one of my ability. I can heal people by licking or sucking their injured parts", he said and continue to lick her hand that is beginning to heal now.

After her hands, he look her with a worried face. "Where does still hurts?"

Lissana's face reddened. He's going to lick or suck her injured part. That's a little exciting she think.

A/n: I miss you everyone so much. Sorry, it take long. I just had to take a short break after my long busy work. Still tomorrow, I'm going back to my work. If I can finish my all my work, maybe I could back at adding chapters again. Hoping and wishing. T___T. And like I always said, I will still continue writing this even if I only have one reader, as long as their is people appreciating this. Or else, this story might end up to my drafts like my other stories from a long time ago. hehe
