I sighed at how naive Yuu was when it came to Guren.

"This whole plan is already so crazy nobody would believe in me. Why bother lying?"

"See?" Yuu said to Mika with a huge dumb smile.

"I keep telling you, don't do it!" Mika retorted.

"Then what about Akane and the kids?" Mika could only stay silent as he looked down.

"I want to bring them back to life and turn you back into a human. Then there's Kimizuki's sister to save and Narumi's family to bring back."

"But if you get too greedy, you'll lose everything again. I've finally found you after all these years...I don't want to be separated again." Mika said with a pained expression.

"Then we won't be. These past eight years have made one thing very clear. In this world, it's never good to let go of family. So I want you to stay here with me Mika. And if you think I'm in real trouble, come and save me."

"If I think you're in trouble, I'll start by killing him," Mika said, referring to Guren.

"And you're welcome to. I've done more than enough to deserve-"

"Shut up." Mika coldly said as he glared at Guren. "No matter what you do, I will never trust you."

"Don't worry Mika! I'm sure you'll learn to like Guren real soon too!"

Crowley then leaned down and whispered to me, "But Mika's a vampire. Vampires don't grow to like anyone they can't."

I looked up at Crowley and shrugged, "I won't blame that."

"Since you aren't going to explain anything to us, what are you going to do next?" Mika asked.

"I can't do anything on my own. And that is why our first move is getting Ferid Bathory and Krul Tepes back."

"We need you to learn how to control your power fast so we can rescue Ferid Bathory and Krul Tepes as soon as possible," Guren stated as I looked at Yuu.

I walked up to him, putting my hand on his shoulder. "If you go berserk and fail to control your seraph, I'll bring you back. Understood?"

"Mhm," Yuu answered as I step back.

"Shiraki, get ready," I mumbled.

"I always am ready (Y/n)."

Yuu injects the drug into his body, and immediately he screams. He transforms and in a flash, he destroys part of the mansion.

I see a body fall out and I recognise it as Shinya. Alarmed, I quickly transformed and had Yuu inside my barrier.

"Obey me for I am your leader. Thee shall disappear at my command."

His transformation goes away and Yuu is back into his human form. I lower Yuu and myself back to the ground as I panted. That was way too fast for my liking.

"What the heck. I thought I was going to die there for a sec, thanks." Goshi said.

Something's wrong. Well, something's wrong with me. My powers, they've grown weaker? No, is it me that's gotten weaker?

I glanced to my side where an unconscious Yuu laid. I placed my hand over my mouth as I coughed. My eyes widened when I felt a liquid on my hand. I pulled away and saw it was blood.

It must be Shikama's, no, Father's doing. Has he gotten closer to beating Shiraki? To fully possessing me?

"Yuu couldn't control his seraph so we'll do it again and again until he can," Guren stated.
