Today my husband of four years,Jack Gilinsky was finally coming back home from the military,he had been there for almost two years honouring his country and i was way too proud of him

There was also another thing as well,he would get to meet his precious little son

Dylan.

Dylan was 1 year old and looked somewhat like jack.

Molly and Laura (his sisters) and me and Dylan were on our way to the airport,to meet up with him,the drive to the airport was mostly silent until we pulled into a parking space

“Are you excited to see jack? Molly asked me.

 I nodded with a huge smile 

"What about you Dyl,you ready to meet your father? Laura asked dylan

he just looked at her and started clapping and giggling which made us laugh.

we all got out of the car and molly unbuckled Dylan out of his seat carrier,set him on his feet then held his hand.

we all walked through the airport doors and went to find a seat next to the baggage claim.

I was overall excited to see him even more excited to see the huge smile on his face when he see’s Dylan,and butterflies slowly grew in my stomach.

then i started fumbling with my fingers and played on my phone.

I then see Johnson’s wife Caitlin and wave to her,she then see’s me and comes and sits herself on the right side of me

we then talk for a good twenty minutes,then i see Johnson enter the door and she runs straight up to him and he drops his luggage so he can grip her tightly,they then pull away and Johnson comes over to greet us.

“Hey guys

“hey Jack

“Who’s this little fella?he said looking at Dylan

oh this is Dylan?

“Hey little guy I’m Jack Johnson your fathers best friend.he said tapping Dylans nose which caused Dylan to laugh.

i keep checking to see if Jack is entering but i don’t see him,a few guy’s enter through then i see him entering with Sammy and Nate

He then grabs his luggage then see’s me and walks over to us

i run up to him and he drops his luggage,i run into his arms and snuggle into his chest and tears start rolling down my eyes.

he starts kissing my forehead and rubs my back.

we take a moment to embrace that he is finally home.

“Oh i missed you so much!

“We missed you too jack!

we finally pull away from each other,so jack can greet the other’s.

he then finally see’s a little boy running up to him and studies his face

“And who is this little guy?

"Jack this is our son Dylan!

“Wow he looks so much like me.

i giggle.

A big smile plays upon his face

"hey little guy I’m your dad.

"dadda! Dylan says running into jacks arms.

wow i can teach you a lot of things champ like how to play basketball,how to pick up chicks.

hey I say with a grin on my face

Jack chuckles,come on lets go home.

i grab jacks luggage as he puts dylan on his shoulder’s,and we walked out the door towards the car.

“Wow my dream of having my own beautiful family has finally come true,he says as he puts dylan in his boosterseat.

that remark made my heart melt.

then dylan pats a spot next to him where jack could sit.

so he sits in the middle of me and dylan in the car.

"well i can tell he is gonna be a daddy’s boy.

I never thought id turn from his fangirl,to his wife and mother of his child…..this isn’t just a dream anymore this is reality.
