Liam's POV

After Jax woke up from his little nap the day went about how every weekend here is like. Well about how every weekend here has been since Jax got here.

Callum had already gone off to his session for the day while Jax lounged around on his bed while he stared off into space. Ryder was still very asleep and from the looks of it, would be sleeping for the rest of the night too.

I was just about to get up to take a shower when Jax's voice stopped me in my tracks.

"Can I borrow a piece of paper and a pencil?" He was still looking off into space and his voice came out so low that I almost thought I had imagined it but at this point I was already leaning over to take my binder out of my backpack.

"Borrow? So I'm going to get this paper back when you're done with it?" I asked with a small smirk as I plot the binder down and took out a few pieces of paper and a pencil.

"I mean if you want it back sure." He said as if it was not a big deal but at this point he had finally sat up to look at me.

"So I'm assuming you won't be doing homework?" I asked to which I was given a sassy look.

"We've been through this before. I'd rather have Callum gouge my eyes out with a spoon than do homework at all under any circumstance, especially on the weekend."

I couldn't help but laugh at that as I handed over everything over to him and took one last glance to Ryder.

Jax must have noticed how the air turned serious and looked over at Ryder as well.

"I'm going to take a shower, if he wakes up while I'm gone try not to make any loud noises or any sudden movements. Just sit there until I come back. Got it?" I asked while still staring at Ryder.

"Sounds pretty complicated," Jax said with a joking voice. He was already starting on his paper and wasn't looking at me anymore. "You might need to go over it again."

"This is serious." I say with a slightly annoyed tone before I could stop myself.

Jax looked up to me with a serious expression before looking over to Ryder.

"I got it. No loud noises or sudden movements and wait until you get back. Go take a shower, I'm pretty sure I can handle him for a few minutes until Callum gets back."

"I shouldn't be long, I'll probably be out before Callum gets back." I say as Jax goes back to his drawing.

We stood in silence for a minute before Jax spoke up again.

"You do realize that the longer you stare at him obsessively the longer it's going to take you to get out of the shower right?" I couldn't help but roll my eyes as I made my way to the shower.

Jax's POV

The second Liam said he wanted the paper back after I was done with it I knew what I was doing.

I stared at my paper deeply as I let my hand fly across the paper wherever it wanted to go.

The general outline was already done and at this point I let my brain take a break while my body did whatever it thought the drawing needed.

I was just about done with my drawing when a voice broke through the void that I was currently in.

Ryder's voice was weak and he still sounded tired but I would take that voice over that demon screaming he was making when he was having his break down.
