Chapter 9 (marcus pov)

I'm sitting in the lounge when I hear a knock on the door. I get up and head for the front door and I open it to reveal Sarah.

"Hey gorgeous." I say smiling

"Hey" she says.

We walk into the kitchen and I plant my lips on her.

I hear a key unlock the door and in walks my sister Avery.

Shit I think.

"Hey Avery." I say smiling

"Hello dear brother and my backstabbing best friend." She says angrily

"Hey knock it off." I say

"No you have no right." She says

And she's right I'm the one who kissed her best friend she should be angry with me.

"Avery can we talk." Sarah says

"No you can go die for all I care." She says angrily and heads upstairs.

Sarah cries into my chest and I feel anger towards Avery for making her cry.

"I should go." She says heading towards the door and leaving.

I walk upstairs and slam my bedroom door angry at Avery.

I wait 10 minutes before I get up and open my door and slam open averys.

"Get out." She says angrily

"No your gonna listen to me." I say

"I don't care Marcus." She says standing up pushing me.

"I love her." I say angrily

"What." Is all she says

"You heard me I love your best friend. I say

"You love mine so you can't be angry with me." I say

And she looks down at her feet realising I'm right.

She walks over to her bed and puts her head into her hands and cries.

I walk over to her and sit next to my sister. I wrap my arms around her shoulders and she cries into my chest.

"I know I should have told you but I'm sorry." I say

She looks up at me and smiles.

"I'm sorry I was so mean." She says

I smile back at her and engulf her in a big bear hug and we fall back onto her bed and laugh.

I missed this I missed my chats with my baby sister. I hated her being mad at me.

"Talk to Sarah." I say getting up.

"Okay." She says

I walk out of her room and back into mine.

I lay down and think about what I just said I love someone.

That's a whole new thing for me maybe I'm maturing.
