The doctor had just conducted his routine check on Ouyang Wenchang's condition   when the his mother arrived. she looked much more refreshed compared to the day before.

"Jianyu how are you feeling" She said walking forward

"I'm good,  how are you feeling right now" he said.

"Better I had no idea how tired I was until I laid on the bed. How is your father, is there any improvement? she said standing next to the hospital bed.

"His stable the doctor predicts that he would be up soon"

"That's much better, your grandmother will be happy to here this"

"How is grandma"

"Getting better, she woke up with a cold nothing serious though. Doctor Wu suggested she stayed back and got some sleep so as not to get sicker. With your father like this we can't afford to another patient. I don't think my heart can take it"

"I will pay her a visit at the house during lunch and keep her company"

"Yes you do that. thanks again for doing this for him. I know you two don't always see eye to eye on things. it means a lot to have you here and now"

"no need for that His my father no matter what"

"You are taking over the company management today right. I won't keep you waiting. You look dashing" she said fixing his tie.

"He always wanted to see you take over the company. He always collected articles from magazines where you were interviewed or where a story about your company was published. Your father is too proud to say this but he always kept an eye on you even back then.

I once came across pictures of you growing up, graduation pictures and all the rest even though he refused to publicly proclaim you as he son due to pride he always took you as his son. Jianyu your father had one damning flaw that he could never overcome and that is his ego.

Don't let that define you okay don't make the same mistakes your father made. wow look at me talking about him in past tense like he is already gone" she said wiping a tear away.

"Don't worry mum, dad is strong.  he wouldn't go so easily" Zhou Jianyu said pulling her into a hug

"Your right I shouldn't think this way. I should have a hope Weisheng would surely survive this" she said hugging him thight

A few minutes later she pulled out of his hands and said "Okay that's enough from me. I shouldn't keep you waiting" dabbing her eyes with a cotton hankie.

"It's alright mum I still have some time" 

"Oh please don't do that, today is a really important day for you and the company. Your father's present condition has to be kept on the wraps we can't afford to make any single mistakes" she said arranging his tie and jacket that had rumbled while she was crying.

"You look handsome my little sweetie. Have a wonderful day, don't forget to eat something. Don't you dare work on an empty stomach okay. You do that and I will personally come over and give you a little piece of my mind"

"alright I got to go" he replied smiling.

"Yeah see you when I see you" Hmsge said and escorted him to the hallway. After watching his elevator door close she turned around and headed back to the hospital room.

Seeing her husband like this she nearly broke down again. She had no idea what she would do if she lost him. After their decades long separation he had promised they would never be apart but these few days has been hard.

She wasn't ready to let him go not even in dead. If he died age just might join him, life felt meaningless without him by her side.

Zhou Jianyu arrived at Ouyang group and was welcomed by the director's and department managers.

As soon as his car came to a stop infront of the Ouyang group, Zhou Jianyu got down from the car.

"Welcome to the company Sir" 

The Director's and the major administration staff chorused bowing at 90 decree.

"Thanks" Zhou Jianyu replied.

"Hello sir I am Senior Director Wang. Since it's  your first day at the company Why don't I give you a tour and introduce you to the various departments " said a older man with little strains of grey hair

"no need to for that. I will  introduce myself at the general meeting today" said Zhou Jianyu  walking forward with Xiaobo and Zhang Han following him close behind.

"Me meeting? I don't quite understand sir" Director Wang said surprised. Seeing that Zhou Jianyu had already walked forward he ran over to walk alongside him.

'Young Master Ouyang just entered the company he can't possibly mean to have a general meeting today. That's too soon even for a successful business man like him' Director Wang thought as he walked forward

Director Wang wasn't the only person surprised even a seasoned assistant like Zhang Han was shocked. It had taken many years of practice for him to avoid revealing his surprise.

He had worked with the young master's father Ouyang Wenchang for decades and this was the first he was hearing of a president holding a general meeting on the first day of work.

The standard practice was to hold a meeting a few days later by then the president would have familiarized his or herself with how the company worked.

He had heard that Zhou Jianyu was a very unconventional but he had doubted the genuinety of that gossip until.

"I need a complete run down of the progress report of Ouyang group's present projects and the plans for the future projects on my desk within the next hour. I will have to trouble you to collect that Director Wang"  Zhou Jianyu said stopping only for a minute for Director Wang to get closer.

"Oh uh yee yes Sir" Director Wang said feeling overwhelmed.

' Just how were they going to do that within an hour. Yet they thought the chairman was tough he had just met someone tougher.

He already had a premonition that thing we're about to get tougher in the company. He had better call his wife and inform her that he would be coming home late from now on' Director Wang thought.

"Oh and one more Director things please pass along the information that there would be a meeting at 4pm to every Director and departmental heads" Zhou Jianyu barreled one.

"Yes sir I will let inform them immediately" Director Wang said.

"See you soon Director Wang, I look forward to working with you" Zhou Jianyu said smiling

"So do I " Director Wang replied a sheepish smile on his face while his heart began to beat quickly.

'Who smiles after giving someone such an impossible task like this. They were so screwed' The Director thought as he washed Zhou Jianyu's elevator door close gently.
