After 112 days of filming the cast and Crew of [The Patriot] were done filming and held their wrap ceremony. As soon as the pictures were posted on their in the  page it received a lot of likes and comments from Netizens who had been following the series from the on beginning. Most of which were fans of Tommy Lee and Bai Zhenzhen following their variety show [Trapped] which maintained
a high rating through out it's run that many asked for a new season. The entire cast received a boost in popularity thanks to the show. Fans of the show were overjoyed when it was announced that Tommy Lee and Bai Zhenzhen will be staring as the leads in the TV series [The Patriot] a republican era drama following A soldier  and the richest man  daughter as they discover a great conspiracy in the government. Fans of both stars were excited on the wrap ceremony as it was only a matter of time before post production was done and the series premieres. The first season of her cooking show  had also concluded with good ratings that they were renewed for a new season. Bai Zhenzhen had been nominated for the Best supporting actress award for her role in series [My Deskmate] which received very good response from Netizens who felt she deserved to win the award.

Bai Zhenzhen arrived at the red carpet Dressed in a bright red flaw length gown with a High side slit. As soon as she came down from the car and stepped into the red carpet the press began to Snap photos. Her fans standing at the side began to scream her name. Bai Zhenzhen was so moved by their numbers that she began to year up. She never thought that a day like this would come a year and half ago when she was about to give up. She walked up to them and said "Hello, thanks for coming it really means a lot". The fans were so shocked that for a moment they were speechless before they screamed even louder and began to take photos with her. By the time Bai Zhenzhen had gotten into the venue for the award, the internet was already a blaze with her photos from the red carpet. Some of the press had captured a photo of her tearing up at the sight of her fans which further endeared her to the public who were now calling her the nations little sweetheart.

Bai Zhenzhen walked into the venue and took a seat with the rest of the cast of [the Deskmate]. The show had been nominated for a few awards one of which included the Best director of a youth drama. The award ceremony began and the host began to announce the nominees and winners. Soon it was time for the award of the Best supporting actress. "it's now time for The best supporting actress award, I invite Suyin to make the announcement" the host said introducing the award. Suyin walked onto the stage dressed in a blue gown and accepted the microphone "The nominees for the Best supporting actress in a modern drama are Mu Piezhi in the TV series [ A late night kiss], Ning Nuo in the series [My country my love] and Bai Zhenzhen in the series [My Deskmate]. Wow this is a tough call" She said making everyone laugh, rasing up the envelope and taking out the card " The Best supporting actress in a modern drama is Bai Zhenzhen in the series [My Deskmate]" Bai Zhenzhen was shocked speechless that when the camera was put on her everyone could see her surprised expression. A few minutes later she stood and walked onto the stage to receive her award. "Wow this little sister is so cute" Suyin said pulling her cheeks then pulled her in for a hug before presenting the award to her and stepping aside for her Appreciation speech.

"wow am really surprised"Bai Zhenzhen said making everyone laugh. "I want to thank The director, crew members and the casts of [My Deskmate] this wouldn't have been possible without their love and support. I also want to thank my Fan and the Fans of the series for the wonderful opportunity to stand here today and receive this award that a long time ago I never would've thought possible. Once again thanks" She said and walked down from the stage back to her seat.

Two days after the award ceremony her movie [The Blacklist] hit the theatre making great box office success that by the next day Bai Zhenzhen was once again in everyone's mouth. This time it wasn't about just her acting but her ballet skill. Netizens were so impressed at her dance skill that some started doubting if she really performed the  dance and not a ballet dancer. It wasn't until the production released a behind the scene video of her dancing. However it was a fan releasing videos of her performance when she was a student of B city Academy of Arts that shut down the haters. It was revealed that she had been a training to be a ballerina since she was eight years old but had given up thanks to an injury. Most Netizens began dropping apologies on her page for doubting her. She remained silent till the after the New year when she posted a picture of her Endorsing TS jewelries, a jewelry company owned by the Tang family. A few days later TV gold announced that [Trapped] had been renewed for a second series with longer episodes and the entire cast was returning with a few addition to the cast. The news left everyone excited, most especially because of the fact that the entire cast were returning. It was always difficult to have the complete cast of a variety show return for a new season.

Two weeks after the announcement Filming began in the old venue and the production team released set photos of the cast.
