"Thanks for coming over Miss Bai" the Production Assistant said as she got into the waiting car. She had just finished filming a Television show and was escorted to her car by the production assistant. "No need it my pleasure. Thanks for having me" Bai Zhenzhen said and got into the car followed by her assistant Da Xia. After saying their final good byes they drove away. For the past two weeks her schedule had been full with back to back activities thanks to the short break she had taken after her accident.  "Da Xia what's next on the schedule" She said lying back on the seat with her eyes closed. "we have to head over to the set for your new veriiety show" Da Xia said scrolling through her pink tablet computer. "Anything else after that" Bai Zhenzhen said with a sigh. "Yes you have a Dinner meeting with Director Zhong and the rest of the main cast of the series" Da Xia said looking up. "Zhenzhen you don't look good maybe we should send Director Zhong our regrets. It's just an introductory dinner. You don't necessarily have to be present" Da Xia said after noticing her pale complexion. Bai Zhenzhen had just recovered from a serious injury. She needed to take things much easier but there was a bulk load of work that had to be done. "It's alright, no need to worry am just a little tired nothing a good night's sleep can't solve" Bai Zhenzhen said softly. "Okay luckily you have a free days off" Da Xia replied. "I will ask little Lu to drive a bit slower so you could get a little shut eye before we arrive on set" Da Xia said setting down the tablet and moving forward to the front seat.

After filming her scenes Bai Zhenzhen said her goodbyes and left for the Dinner meeting with Director Zhong and the rest of the main casts. The set of the veriiety show was located at the sea side on the other side of B city a far away from the restaurant where the dinner meeting was held and was a fifty minutes journey from the set. Thanks to traffic She had arrived twenty minutes into the Dinner. The dinner party was held at the same restaurant as the last time she had met with Director Zhong and his team just in a much bigger private room. She was introduced to the rest of the cast on arrival after exchanged greetings she took her seat next to Shen Xue and the dinner commenced. Midway through the dinner Director Zhong's assistant announced the arrival of the major investor the CEO of Jian Cosmetics Jian Mengyao. CEO Jian arrived with a few of the small investors and was led over to the host's chair. After the casts saided their greetings, they euch introduced themselves and their roles and the dinner continued. Jian Mengyao didn't stay long after giving some toast with the director and the cast he left but not before urging them to continue. Jian Mengyao's wife just delivered his third child so his leaving earlier was no surprise There were two veteran actors in the cast that left some time after the CEO left. Twenty minutes after the veterans left Bai Zhenzhen said her goodbyes and left earlier with the excuse of having an early appointment. She had attended the meeting together with Da Xia. They had walked out of the restaurant and stood at the entrance waiting for their car to come around when Bai Zhenzhen heard a male voice calling out her name. She quickly turned around to see Shen Xue walking up to where she stood. She was shocked to see him out so quickly, he was still seated in the private room when she had taken her leave. "Brother Shen Xue" she said surprised. "Zhenzhen, I finally caught up with you. I thought I never would" He said pulling his silky black hair back. Shen Xue was one of the few actors that grew out his hair. His shoulder length hair was packed back in a bon but a few short strands flipped out of the restrains. "Oh so sorry, it has been such a stressful day so I am in a hurry to get home" She said.  "don't worry I understand how it is, you must have a lot of work piled up" He said. "I do, am trying to get everything done before we start shooting" She replied smiling. "Well you can't possibly be too busy to have lunch with me and you know catch up. it's been awhile since we did that" He said. "Oh that so true, we haven't hung out together in a while. We can ask Fei'er if she is free and hang out together just like old times" She replied. "Oh..... that's good I guess" He said. "I don't know if you are doing anything tomorrow at 1pm am free around that time. We don't have to worry about Fei'er she isn't doing much so she would be free around then. we were supposed to go shopping together tomorrow so am sure she can make it" She said. "Oh that fine with me, am also free tomorrow" Shen Xue replied. "oh then let's do that, my car is here. i've got to go see you tomorrow. I will text you the venue, bye bye" she said as she got into her car. "Okay, bye bye see you soon" he said with a wave. He stood there until her car had gotten out of sight before turning around and heading back into the restaurant. A long time ago she would have stayed back to talk longer with him but not anymore. Now she was avoiding getting into any scandals with him. She was once again out of his reach, he still regrets not telling her how he really felt about her back then he still had something to prove but not anymore. He had already attained the highest height of his career and yet he still lost her.This was a mistake he was never going to make, when next he falls in love he was going to hold on and never let go. Shen Xue thought not knowing that he was destined to have a love that transcends time and age. A great love that only comes once in a thousand years.
