Elle slammed her suitcase shut, she sighed and pulled a strand of loose hair behind her ears, her hair was currently in a loose bun, it was appropriate at the moment given that she was in the middle of packing her stuff.
They were going back to Pittsburgh today, since the summer was over and school was starting in a few days and the media had finally dropped the rumours about Elle's mom, they were now interested in what was going on with Kim and Kanye and if there's a divorce brewing for the power couple.
She was currently clearing out her closet, she sighed wistfully, she was going to miss this place in a weird way, it held a lot of good memories, some life changing and some wrecking, like when Ethan came home and meeting the Reese's except for Christy of course and then there was the whole issue with Taylor and Alex plus losing her boyfriend of 3 years but like she said, some memories were wrecking.
She sighed again as she put away the last suitcase, wondering if Taylor was done packing, she couldn't be sure though, Taylor had been completely MIA with her as of late, she was obviously avoiding her and it only made Elle even more helpless.
She couldn't help but feel like that the incident with Alex was the final straw for her friendship with Taylor.
She made her way out of her lifeless room and towards the kitchen, almost bumping into a man carrying some boxes, she instantly moved away.
"Sorry" she quickly got out, the man nodded in agreement and hurried down the stairs.
The whole hall was filled with people moving stuff around haphazardly, Elle had to manoeuvre her way around the movers to find the kitchen, luckily she made it there without a scratch, she found Brad and Ethan casually lounging at the counter, well lounging for Ethan and working for Brad.
"Hey dad" Elle greeted her father, she was greeted by Brad smiling warmly at her, his weary eyes stared at her dimly, it made Elle frown.
"There's my favourite sister!" Ethan hollers, his arms held out towards her.
Elle couldn't help but snort at him, "I'm your only sister" she playfully chided.
