The silence in the car was deafening, Elle was counting on Taylor to ride with her and Alex so she could have someone to talk to but no...Taylor just had to go with Blake,

Now this was just awkward, she shifted uncomfortably in her seat, this was taking too long,

"How much more till we reached the park?" Elle whined,

"Just in a few minutes, we're almost there" Alex assured,

"Great, now I get to spend more time with you" Elle mumbled but it was loud enough for Alex to hear,

"I know right, such honour given to the undeserving" Alex scoffed, shaking his head ruefully,

Elle turned in her seat and faced him, glaring at him "undeserving?!, the only undeserving one here is you!"

"Can you just admit that you've become obsessed with my very being already?" Alex said shaking his head,"its getting embarrassing"

"Very unlikely, I'd rather die than admit it" Elle glared at him,

"That's comforting, considering no one will hold you at gun point just to get you to admit you can't live without me  " he smirked,

"Well,then I'd rather kill myself than admit that and I Can LIVE without you" she spat her voice rising at the last part,

"How cute!, but you don't have to commit suicide just because you can't handle the fact that you've fallen head over heels in love with me" he laughed then reached over and patted her head,

Elle smacked his hand away,"you're unbearable" she scowled,

Elle glared at him, for once she couldn't come up with a better comeback, maybe it had to do with the fact that no one has ever challenged her that far,

She so wished she could wipe that smirk off his gorgeous face,

Elle's eyes widened 'where did that come from'  she shook her head, Taylor's fan girling was starting to get to her head,

She knew she was beat and trying to reply Alex will create more room for more conversations and she was trying to keep her distance, for Taylor's sake.
