The rest of the night went by smoothly, that is until Alex called Blake that he and Elle were on their way back home,

Taylor panicked, up until a few hours ago she was sure she never wanted to set eyes on Elle ever again but now she was suddenly starting to realise how stupid it was,

She convinced Blake and Kayden to help move her things back to the retreat home, Blake being Blake refused but after hours of puppy eyes and begging he finally agreed,

Let's just say Carmichael was not a bit pleased to be helping Taylor unload her bags from Blake's sports car under the hot sun,

Taylor made a mental note to ask Blake later how he could afford the sports car, she already had a theory in mind but she wasn't ready to prove Elle's band of thieves theory right,

When her bags were settled in her room, Blake and Kayden gave her some privacy to unpack,

She had finished in record time and still no signs of Elle, luckily Brad had left for a business trip yesterday,

It seemed odd because his daughter was involved in an accident and was away from home for a day, given that Brad wanted their identity hidden, shouldn't he be worried sick or did he have that much faith in Alex,

That didn't seem right, he's only known Alex for three weeks, something felt off,

Taylor decided not to think too much about it and decided to join Blake and Kayden downstairs, they had decided to wait for Elle and Alex together,

She heard hushed tones coming from the kitchen, she followed it, realising it was Blake and Kayden,

She signed a sigh of relief but that was soon short lived when she tried to eavesdrop on their conversation,

"So the truck was damaged?" Kayden asked, shifting on the bar stool,

Blake was silent,absent mindedly tracing the patterns on the glass of vodka in his hands, with his thumb,

"Alex and AJ don't cross paths unless it's on the track, that was the deal, so why is he going after Alex?" Kayden asked,

Now Taylor was worried, this was the second time they were mentioning this AJ in relation to Alex, a thought crossed Taylor's mind, did this guy cause their accident?,

Blake downed his drink, refilling his glass,"I don't think AJ will risk his spot with T just to get back at Alex"

Kayden frowned, "then again, he could be trying to take Alex out secretly without T knowing"

"He went after Alex in Rio grande, that's too close to T, if he wanted it in secret, it would have been far from there"
