Ok holy shit
This song-- "Benevolence"-- I love it so much. It's made by the breadstick queen, SharaX Official, and it's amazing. This is a theme song for Dream. I highly suggest you go check out her other music, especially her theme for Nightmare and Dust (Nightmare's is called "Malevolence" and Dust's is just called "Dust" though I like to call it Impulse).
One of the reasons I like this theme so much is because it expresses Dream's optimism while also not giving him the appearance of childlike wonder. The theme also shows how he isn't as innocent and naive as most people think he is, as he is still a guardian willing to give his life to protect those he cares about. I also love how it slows down toward the middle, and takes a sadder turn, expressing his disappointment in himself for Nightmare's corruption. The sad part of this theme is also featured in Nightmares theme song (Also by her) called "Malevolence". I find this interesting, because even though the two songs are completely different styles and for very different characters, they still share some of the same elements to show the connection between the brothers.
Over all, this song is completely amazing, and the word play both the song's titles are incredible (Benevolence- kindness and empathy, showing care and wanting to help. Malevolence- Anger and pain, constant aggression and untrustworthiness).
Another song by SharaX I'd like to briefly talk about is "Ravenous," a theme for Horror. It's remixed with music from Fran Bow. That's GENIUS. I can't express enough how much I love it. Megalovania remixed with Fran Bow is one of the best sounding tracks I've ever heard. Please go give her some support! All hail the breadstick queen!
