If Deidara wasn't holding me down beside him, I would be pacing ruthlessly in front of Daniel, grumbling nasty things about him. I don't tolerate cheating. I don't understand it, nor do I condone it. I don't know how many times I've told him I was going to kick his ass if I ever found out he cheated on someone.
Last night, when I invited Maddi over, and almost killed her, I took his phone and flooded all the electronic devices too big to be removed from his room.
But it's still not enough.
"He must suffer." I grumble darkly.
Deidara glances over at the sound of my voice and quirks a brow. I settle into the couch further, resting my legs in my weasel's lap and my head resting against my sexy blonde artist's shoulder. Deidara sighs softly and shifts around beneath me, moving his torso so my back is resting against his chest and not being jabbed by his shoulder. Sarah, right now, is making up for my lack of pacing. Her long blue hair flickers against the small of her back like a flame with each step.
Needless to say, I am not the only one who is livid.
"I can't believe you cheated on Lilly." She seethes. Daniel sits on the couch in front of her, backpack, packed and ready, sitting on the floor beside his feet. "Do you know what that does to girls nowadays?!"
Alice sits beside Itachi and Kisame, arms neatly folded across her chest. "Has she changed at all since you broke her heart?"
"I don't know." Daniel skewers us all with an evil look. "I haven't seen her."
Sarah and I stiffen. "She's been at school...right?" We ask in unison.
Daniel shoots us a brief, confused look. Hidan sighs loudly, fuschia eyes glued to Sarah's irritated form. "Don't you fucking think we're blowing this shit out of proportion? She'll get the fuck over it. They'll both move on and live their happy fucking lives. Besides, Alex did more then enough when she destroyed his fucking x-box thing." Yeah, Hidan has turned into an avid video game player. He was too happy that the console was out of commission at the moment.
"You mean, if she actually lives." I smile at him coldly.
"What do you mean?" Itachi casts a look my way, facial features lightly twitching into something confused.
"Breaking a girl's heart does numerous things to a girl." Alice sighs heavily, climbing to her feet. "Most girls nowadays can't handle the pain and opt for the quickest way out." Her somber gray eyes flicker towards Danny and then to Hidan and Itachi. "And most of the time, it's suicide."
I glare at Danny. "And Lilly was already broken enough as it was. I swear to Jashin, Daniel, if you killed her, I'm going to kill you."
"That's fucking stupid." Hidan grunts, shaking his head. "He's just a boy trying to fucking have fun. They bitches need to get over it and move the fuck on."
I feel a rant coming on.
Alice's eyes harden. "When a girl loves a boy, she entrusts that boy with her entire soul and being. He becomes her rock, the one who will always be there for her, her safety net. She becomes willing to do anything with him, for him, just to make him happy, no matter what it means for her. And when he does something like that, she feels that she isn't good enough."
"It becomes too much to handle." I continue on for her. "The cold, emptiness eats at you from the inside out, tearing you apart. You sit there for hours and hours, trying to figure out what you did wrong. What's wrong with you? What's the difference between her and you?"
"And you begin to create a list." Sarah glowers at the silverette, pinning him beneath a cold glare. "That list grows longer and longer, of all the things that are wrong with you. Most of them can't even be helped, either. But they're still wrong. And they turn into reasons why you shouldn't live anymore. Nobody loves you, likes you, cares for you. You become blind to the love and affection of your parents, of your friends."
"And all you can think about is how much you want it to end." Tj concludes sadly.
Daniel's eyes soften and he lets out a small sigh. "We're not talking about Lilly anymore, are we?"
"You better find her today, Daniel. You better tell her every little damn thing that make her perfect. Don't you stop until she knows just how amazing she is. That girl was too pure for you to corrupt." I snap at him, pointing to the door. "I'm too pissed to drive you. You better start walking."
Letting out a small huff, Daniel stands and trudges towards the door. He glances back and casts me a pitiful look. "I love you sis."
"Out." I growl.
He sighs and shuts the door behind him. Alice walks into the kitchen and I hear the soft clinks of cups as she prepares tea. I sink a little further into Deidara. Tj lets out a little dejected huff. "I miss her."
I nod. "I do too."
"Who the fuck are we talking about?" Hidan's brows furrow in confusion and he looks back and forth between Sarah, Tj, and I.
"An old friend of ours." I answer smoothly, before Tj can get worked up. Sarah plops down in between Hidan and Kakuzu, using the former as a pillow. "We just described the last two months before her death."
"She died several years ago." Sarah adds. "Her boyfriend cheated on her and she couldn't handle it."
"You seem to be surrounded by a lot of death." Sasori muses.
I smile slightly. "I think it's attracted to our good looks."
Sarah chuckles. "Damn straight."
Alice returns to the room, two teacups in hand. One steams slightly, little wisps of white clouds swirling around in the air above it, and the other clinks with ice. She lowers the cold one into my grasp and I smile thankfully. Hidan smirks. "Oi, bitch, where's mine?"
"You can get your fucking own." Alice stares at him impassively. I think she's been spending too much time around my weasel. His stoic exterior has started to rub off.
Hidan sulks.
