Shortly after Midas showed her to her room, Skye accompanied her to bring some items from her home at Holly to the Agency. She brought very few things initially - knowing that she wouldn't be there for long.

That night Y/n had been invited to join their weekly pizza night in the board room. If she were being honest, it hadn't even been a day and she had already felt at home.

Everyone acted like one big family - a stark difference from the colder, more serious vibe that Shadow consistently gave off.

That next morning, Y/n woke up to Tina and Skye barging into her room super early. Y/n groaned, turning on her side, "5 more minutes..." she mumbled into her pillow.

"Nope! Time to get up! Now wake up before Midas wakes you up, we're already late!" Tina chucked, crossing her arms as Skye jumped up onto her bed.

Y/n sighed and sat up, rubbing her eyes, "You all are early risers."

"You get used to it," Tina frowned as Skye smiled at her. "I like your room. Maybe we can help you decorate!"

"I would love that," Y/n yawned and smiled sleepily. "Lemme get dressed first. Where are we meeting?"

"Downstairs in the gym," Tina replied. "I'll wait outside." Y/n nodded as she walked over to grab her clothes as the two girls left. She quickly got dressed in her usual favorite outfit, put her hair up, and walked out.

"You slept past breakfast," Tina commented, frowning. "Midas was worried why you didn't come down."

"I missed breakfast? Good lord, it's only 7 am if that!" Y/n shook her head, sighing, "I'm not used to getting up this early for anything."

"Don't sweat it, sis. We can catch some brunch for you after," Tina clapped her back surprisingly hard which made Y/n jerk forward, laughing, "You've got quite the punch."

"Wait until you see my bombs," she winked. "C'mon."

Their "training" session went by slowly, though it was fun. Shadow was straight to the point - whereas Tina and Skye made it fun. Y/n, of course, already knew the intricacies of being a spy, so she "picked up" very fast. Thankfully, neither girls were very suspicious at all.

Right after Y/n had exploded some of the bots that they had, Midas appeared from the balcony to watch. He leaned over the fence and a faint smirk appeared on his lips while watching her.

She moved perfectly, and he couldn't help but watch every inch of her. She twirled around and smacked the final bot in the back of the head with her shotgun instead of shooting it and chuckled as Skye applauded her, "Woah! I've never seen someone pull that off so easily before except for Maya!"

"Now how the hell did you do that so well, huh?" Maya chuckled, crossing her arms and smiling. "I don't recall teaching you that."

"You didn't! I just wanted to add some flair, since I was killing it earlier." Y/n blushed, feeling super proud of herself. These girls made training fun, and over the past few hours they had started to become close. If these were her new teammates, she was going to love it here.

Except you can't stay, Y/n reminded herself. Your squadmates are with Shadow, not Ghost.

"Amazing job, Recruit," Midas walked into the training grounds, smiling with his hands in his pockets. "You're picking up fast."

"I'm a fast learner," Y/n smiled, walking over to him, "and your Agents are really good teachers."

"So I see," Midas chuckled, "congratulations to all four of you. If you don't mind, L/n, tomorrow I would like you to train with Meowscles, then Brutus the next day, and then me. There's just a few things left I want you to know before you fully join us."
