Also, addressing some things and concerns about the lore of this story.
This was written WHILE season 12 was still happening. Jules and Midas, in this story, are siblings. Marigold (the girl version of midas) is his daughter. Some things about the lore may not match up with anything canonly past season 14.
UPDATE AS OF CHAPTER 3:
With a freshly new Midas brain rot I decided to do more lore accurate research and will be adding a new subplot that Midas was... apart of the IO! because i had no idea about this LMAO
it bugs me that this is not 100% lore accurate (jules being his sister, not daughter, IM SORRY) but hey imma try my best.
Now with that out of the way — introducingggg enemies to lovers but not actually enemies more like two people that mutually despise each other bc they both negatively impact an aspect of their lives to... lovers... 😅
