Mariana had snuck away while everyone else was getting ready for bed. She was outside on the swept-clean back porch looking out at the snowy landscape in front of her, letting her thoughts run. Between figuring out what she wanted to do with her life after she graduated next year, Seon trying to come back into her life, the current situation with her family, and the general craziness that comes with knowing, let alone dating a BTS member, there were a lot of decisions Mariana knew she'd have to make sooner or later. So she decided to go somewhere by herself for a little bit and think about all of it. She'd had a good twenty minutes before she heard the patio door behind her slide open.

"There you are. I was wondering where you'd gone." Suga said as he closed the patio door behind himself.

"I've been here." She said loud enough for Suga to still hear her without turning her head.

"Everything okay?" Suga asked as he leaned on the railing with Mariana.

Mariana nodded a bit. "Yeah. I used to come outside all the time on beautiful nights like this and just look up at the stars." She scoffed a bit in thought. "I used to share so many wishes and secrets with these stars, but now? I don't even recognize most of the constellations. It's funny how time away can change things like that."

"It makes you think of Seon, doesn't it?"

Mariana was quiet for a minute as she leveled her gaze from the stars. "It hadn't. But...there is an uncanny resemblance. Something I used to know so well, and now know nothing about."

Suga shifted. "I'm sorry, Ana. I didn't mean to bring up..."

"It's okay." She cut him off with a little smile as she turned to face him.

"Has he been bugging you again?"

Mariana shook her head. "Not really. But...He texted me the other night...he asked to be friends again...."

Suga turned to Mariana, one elbow resting on the railing they were leaning on. "What did you tell him?"

"I tried to shake him off at first, but he said he really needed a real friend. So I told him he'd have to earn it like everyone else."

"Do you think he'll spread the word about us?"

Mariana firmly shook her head. "No. He wouldn't tell anyway, but I don't even plan on telling him who you are."

"That works for me. Otherwise, if you trust him...Well. I'll trust you to trust him. But you let me know if he gets to be too much."

"Oh, I don't trust him yet. And you'll be the first to know if he does anything shady."

"Promise?" Suga asked and held up his pinky.

Mariana couldn't help but smile as she linked her pinky with his. "I promise, Yoongi."

"Aish, your hand is so cold!" Yoongi stated as he stood up and took off his leather jacket, leaving him in his black sweatshirt as he draped his jacket over Mariana's shoulders. "You'll catch your death out here." He said and wrapped an arm around her back as Mariana adjusted his jacket and held it to herself. "Come on, let's get you inside and warmed up."

"You just can't sleep without your cuddle buddy." Mariana teased him with an amused tone as they headed back inside.

Suga inhaled like he was going to protest, but hesitated. "Maybe..."

Mariana bit her lips together with a smile and put her head against his shoulder for a moment before they stepped inside, locked the door behind them and quietly went back downstairs to Mariana's room, the other guys barely noticing them come through. Suga sat on the bed, as Mariana closed the door. She turned back to Suga and noticed he was just watching her come closer.
