A Thousand Words (Min Yoongi x OC)

Movie Night

*February 12th*

Mariana woke up the next morning to her phone buzzing and singing with an incoming video call. She pulled herself from sleep as she turned on the lamp on her bedside table before she picked up her phone and answered the call as she sat up in her bed.

"Morning, Jimin." She greeted him groggily.

"Morning sleeping beauty! Still ready for movie night? I think it's time for a binge night." Jimin stated.

Mariana nodded a bit. "I think I am. I have a question for you first though." Mariana stated and pushed her freshly slept on hair off the sides of her face.

"Okay!" Jimin happily stated as he lightly flopped stomach down onto his bed and propped himself up with a pillow.

Mariana smiled a bit. "My best friend from the states, Payton, is in town with her family for vacation, and we're getting together after I get out of school. Is it cool if she sticks around and hangs out with us for movie night?"

"Absolutely! Is she an ARMY? Who do I need to bring?" Jimin eagerly asked.

Mariana chuckled a bit. "You guys really like meeting us, don't you?"

"We really do." Jimin said with a smile.

Mariana couldn't help but smile back at him. "In that case, see if Kookie will come with you."

"Done deal!" Jimin happily confirmed.

"Perfect! I won't tell her you're coming over, and we'll just surprise her." Mariana planned.

"Sounds good to me." Jimin agreed. "I should let you go so you can get ready for school."

"You don't want to get ready with me?" Mariana joked.

"There's nothing you could do that would scare me off, but Suga-Hyung might shoot me for part of that process, and I'd prefer to avoid injury." Jimin pointed out.

"Yeah, let's not go around getting shot." Mariana agreed with him.

"I'll see you tonight, noona." Jimin said with a smile.

"See you later, Jimin." Mariana restated before they hung up the call and Mariana went about her morning, getting ready for school.

"So whatcha wanna watch?" Payton asked as she happily sat on Mariana's couch.

"Jimin wants to binge watch a bunch of movies. We'll make a group decision on exactly what in a bit." Mariana said from her kitchen table as she assembled bowls of popcorn, starting out with three bowls. One for Payton, and one for Jungkook, since Mariana knew that Jimin would split a bowl with her.

Mariana was planning on keeping Jimin and Jungkook both a surprise for Payton, but when Payton kept trying to convince Mariana to take her to the local street fair, Mariana caved and told Payton she was planning to surprise her with Jimin when he came over for their weekly movie night. Payton, of course, was much more excited about meeting Park Jimin than she was the street fair. She practically drug Mariana back to the apartment despite Mariana trying to assure her that they had plenty of time.

Jimin was on his way with Jungkook, and Mariana couldn't wait to see the look on Payton's face when Jungkook walked through the door. She was already beaming at the mere idea of meeting Jimin, let alone the idea of meeting her ultimate bias.

Mariana had just put the last bag of popcorn in the microwave when there was a knock on her door. "열려있어!" [It's open!] Mariana exclaimed as she set the timer on the microwave.

Jimin walked through the door, Jungkook right behind him, squeezing past Jimin as he came inside to get the door closed. "Hi, Ana! 열려있어." [I brought a friend.] Jimin happily reported as he and Jungkook took their shoes off.

"Perfect! I have an ARMY friend for you both to meet." Mariana stated as she looked over to Payton. Mariana found herself biting her lips together as she internally cracked up at Payton, whose eyes were as big as quarters and bouncing back and forth from Jungkook, to Jimin in awe.

"Hi!" Jimin started with a smile as he walked over to Payton, Jungkook following beside him. "Payton right? Ana's told me a lot about you."

Payton nodded. "Yeah, Payton." She confirmed, slowly adjusting to the fact that she was in the same room as two of her favorite members.

"I'm getting the feeling that one of us is a bias." Jungkook said with a smile.

Payton turned her head to look at Jungkook. "Uh-huh." She said with a single nod.

"Is it me?" Jungkook asked with hopefulness in his tone.

"Uh-huh." Payton confirmed as her cheeks started flushing with more blush.

Jungkook couldn't help but smile wide. "Can I give you a hug?"

"Yes." Payton calmly answered with no hesitation, a huge smile of disbelief spreading across her features.

Jungkook happily stepped over to her and snuggly wrapped his arms around her shoulders, Payton being just short enough for her arms to comfortably wrap around his ribs with his arms around her as she hugged him back.

"Well, now I want a hug." Jimin stated and wrapped his arms around Mariana, slightly startling her.

"What the..." She started and just let out a chuckle before hugging him back. "Okay Jimin." Mariana started as everyone separated. "You wanted to do a binge watch tonight. Pick your movies."

"How does everyone feel about Marvel movies?" He asked the group.

"You know I'm definitely down for that." Mariana stated with a smile.

"Me too." Payton added, mostly well adjusted to being around Jungkook and Jimin after getting a hug from Jungkook to confirm that she was not in fact stuck in a dream.

"I'll watch anything, but I get to sit next to Payton." Jungkook stated, smiling as he noticed the redness in Payton's cheeks intensifying as she bit her lips together.

"All of those fluttering butterflies in your stomach right now? Imagine that doubled and in the close confines of plane seats. THAT is what Suga did to me. Twice." Mariana said to Payton with an amused smile.

"How did you not faint?!" She exclaimed in surprise, earning laughs from Jimin and Jungkook.

"No clue." Mariana admitted through a chuckle as she and Jimin grabbed the popcorn bowls and set them on the coffee table in front of her couch, prompting everyone to find their seats for the next few hours.
