A Thousand Words (Min Yoongi x OC)

J-Hope's Birthday

**February 18th**

"Your lunch is here, guys!" Some man announced from the other side of the music video set as he and some other girl were each carrying two grocery bags packed full of smaller containers, setting the bags down on a couple of fold-up tables somewhere off-set.

"Who already ordered lunch?" Jin asked and they all looked around themselves, not finding any answers until Suga's phone dinged with Mariana's message tone. He pulled out his phone and checked the message.

From Mariana:
Sorry I couldn't stop in and say Hi. I'm running behind getting to work. I hope you all feel like noodles. Have a good day at the shoot, and say Hi to everyone else for me! I love you, Oppa! 😘

Suga smiled as he read. "Ana made us food." He announced to the group.

"Sweet!" Jin exclaimed in excitement as he led the way to the table of food, practically skipping the whole way.

"I'm with Jin. That girl can do anything with noodles, and especially with ramen." Jimin agreed, quickly following right behind Jin.

"There's a separate box with J-hope's name on it!" Taehyung exclaimed as he approached the table after Jimin and grabbed the box to handed it to Hoseok.

"She really feels bad that she can't come to dinner tonight for your birthday." Jimin said with a bit of sympathy in his tone as everyone else congregated around the table.

"She shouldn't. Her job is important too." Hoseok stated as he took the box from Taehyung and opened it, revealing a big bento box of some of Hoseok's favorite foods, and a piece of cake with a decorative "Happy Birthday!" stick in it, a mini sticky note from Mariana attached to it.

"Happy birthday Mr. Sunshine! I hope you have an awesome day!
--P.s. This is YOUR box. Nobody else is allowed to touch it without your expressed consent."

Hoseok couldn't help but smile at the note as he read and looked across the table to Suga when he was done. "You're keeping your girlfriend, right? She is literally the best person ever." He stated and grabbed a pair of chopsticks from the table before going to find a spot to sit.

"Well, I do claim her as MY girlfriend, so, yes. I intend on keeping her." Suga stated as he sifted through the bags of food stored in plastic containers, Jin already picking up chopsticks and walking with Hoseok to go sit and eat.

"Unless she wises up and realizes she can do better." Jungkook joked a bit as he picked a container from the table.

"Nah. Even then, she'll keep hanging out with me." Jimin pointed out as he went to go sit.

"Or Namjoon will step in and be the rebound." Jungkook joked with a bit of a mischievous smirk and took a seat with his container of noodles.

Namjoon almost dropped the container of noodles he'd just picked in surprise. "Hajima! Why do you guys keep bringing me into that??"

"Seriously. Why do you guys keep bringing that up?" Suga asked with a tinge of annoyance in his tone as he took a seat next to Hoseok.

"Honestly guys, come on. Leave it alone." Jin remarked after setting his cup of homemade ramen down in his lap. "It's getting old."

"Thank you." Suga and Namjoon both said in relief.

"Yes, mom." Jungkook grumbled, shoving a bite of food into his mouth.

Jin sighed a bit, stifling his annoyance. "I'm not the mom!" He almost whined.

Jungkook huffed. "You've actually said that you raised me! So, if you don't want to be labeled as the mom, don't act like one." He pointed out.

"I'm a guy! I'm not a mom. Dad, fine, but I'm not a mom."

"But I thought Rap Mon was the dad?" Jimin asked with a little amused smile, his chopsticks stuck into his noodles.

"That's what I thought, too." Taehyung agreed. "You guys have even called yourself the parents. Do you really want to be labeled as the two guys with kids?" He said in amusement.

Namjoon set his unopened container in his lap before putting his hands up on either side of his shoulders as Jin looked to him with a look of 'help me out here.'
"Don't look at me like that. I do way too much stereotypical dad shit to be labeled the mom." He pointed out.

Jin thought for a moment before sighing in defeat. "I'm the mooooom." He droned like a scorned child.

"You're the mom." Jungkook confirmed. "You bake for us, cook for us, you help us with laundry, you pet my hair for two hours straight once..... You're definitely the mom."

"Suga cooks for you guys too! What's that make him?"

"The crabby Grandpa." Jimin responded like it was common knowledge, everyone else nodding in agreement, including Suga.

"I'm the grumpy grandpa." Suga agreed with them and took a bite of his noodles.

"See, he agrees." Namjoon stated and picked his ramen back up.

"There's not anything to deny." Suga pointed out with a slight smile, making Jin sigh in defeat and go back to his noodles.

"How'd Ana do on your bento box, J-hope?" Jimin changed subjects and took a bite of his own food.

"Great!" He exclaimed with his signature smile. "She knows me so much better than I was going to give her credit for."

"Ana's good at paying attention to everything. Even when you think she's not." Suga pointed out after he swallowed his most recent bite of food.

"That, and she's been keeping up with us basically since we started. She probably knows a lot more about us than we give her credit for." Jimin added and plunged his chopsticks into his container.

"Oh, I don't doubt it. She's observant as is." Namjoon commented.

"I'm aware. We've known her, what, 4-ish months? She picks up on my slightest voice fluctuations like they're common knowledge." Suga stated with a chuckle in slight amazement.

"She does that to me too. Which is scary...Yet, I understand it. We do that with each other, too." Jimin pointed out.

"Yeah, yet, I can't do it to her..." Suga stated with a little pout.

"It's okay, Hyung. I can't either yet." Jimin assured him with a slightly amused smile.

The boys happily continued chatting with each other through lunchtime, but didn't hesitate to get back to work once everyone was finished. Everyone was eager to finish the video so that they could release it for ARMY.
