Magnus had never felt this panic before but when Alec fell into the water he didn't think twice before he jumped in as well. He saw Alec's body slowly sunk into the deep endless water and when Magnus finally grabbed his body, they both emerge from underwater and he could hear Alec gasped in his arm.

Alec coughed harshly clearing his lungs from the water he gulped earlier and he lay his head back on Magnus shoulder. "Alec, hang on." He claimed and quickly grabbed the drifting boat closer. "Climb on it." He instructed and Alec didn't protested, he grabbed the both with his hand and pulled his body up but he was to weak to lift himself so he falls back into the water with another splash and accidentally released the boat making it whiplash from the water.

"I can't." He whispered with his voice heaving, he coughed few more times while wiping his face with his palm. "Hang on." Magnus said and grabbed Alec's hand to hold the boat so he won't sunken into the water. He climbed effortlessly into the boat and later he helped Alec to get in.

With all of his strength, he pulled Alec back into the boat and let Alec lay displayed on the boat. His chest pants in his own breath and he swallowed his aching throat few times. They both didn't utter any word for a while and let the event drift as their boat did.

"Are you okay?" He asked after a while moment of silence. Alec still lay on the bed with his legs dangled into the air barely touching the water. He nodded humming in response before raising himself to sit in better position. He sat on the wooden plank and leaned his body forward with his arm hugged his cold shivering body.

"Cold?" Magnus asked shortly and he kept his gaze on the wet floor of the boat, "I'm fine." He said a little bit harsh. "A thank you would suffice." Magnus remind and Alec turned his gaze forward glaring at his rude remark.

"You're the reason I fell into the water." He snapped and Magnus' both eyebrows raised into surprised at his words. "I don't remember asking you to stood and fell into the water, if anything it should be me who's angry not you! I should have left you drown instead." He said and Alec scoffed in his attempt. "You should." He said whispery hoping Magnus didn't hear it but he did, although he didn't respond to it.

It felt like hours since they had been drifted and Magnus could feel the sun has already setting lower, probably the time is already passed three in the evening, he thought. Alec has been asleep since their argument earlier and Magnus couldn't help but to stare at his pale angelic face.

His bushy eyebrow crooked upon the heat from the sun but his eyes are closed. There's shadow underneath his long curly eyelashes and his lips are apart. If he didn't have deadly thought on him he won't find him so devastatingly cute.

But as Magnus look beyond Alec's head, further  afar he could see something blistering with hope. Something green, something small but enough for both of them. He quickly move forward to woke Alec up from his sleep. "Alexander wake up! Wake up, look!" He shook Alec's arm and he woken up squeezing his eyes tight from the rays of sun with Magnus kneeled before him pointing his finger at something behind him.

He turned his head and saw the same thing Magnus sees and he couldn't felt happier. Magnus smile grew wider and he grabbed the oar to paddle faster. Alec wanted to help but the searing pain in his head didn't let him so he lay back into the boat and watch Magnus paddling with all his strength.

He couldn't help but gawked at the glorious muscles protruding from his shirt and how each time he move his biceps clenched and relaxed. Alec eyes trails over Magnus' jaw and he clenched it tight in each pull. His sharp jawline could cut papers and there is no stubbles on it yet.
