Tonight the hours are long and heavy upon me
A great pressure stirring somewhere in my chest
For the most part, it's a longing to go home
I'm lost and imprisoned in an unknown place.
A stranger led to his cage with his own blessing
Visions of the future sometimes cross my mind
What ill be doing in a few months time
When this heaviness is lifted from my shoulders
I'll be light enough to fly through the sky
To a new place calling for my bones to sit and wait
More hopless hours to press me into the floor
Longing for a glimpse of humanity
Of a bright possibility beyond the grey
My love somewhere gathering flowers at any hour of the day
With freedom she doesnt feel without it taken away
Where has the time gone now?
Where has my mind wandered off too?
Back to you, of course,
At the end of time is you
