Spell Broken

Enchantress from far away
A gypsy that I went to see
Puts me into a magic trance
To break the spell cast on me

Lost inside a dusty tome
In a library drowned under the sea
The secrets of her charms
Techniques of her alchemy

Love potions concentrated
Into draughts of destiny
Mixing me up into
Her lovely masterpiece

To break the spell of binding cast
My fate tied up in a bow
Feelings of lost love past
Return from long ago

She was more than light
She was the sun and moon
A love so bright
With a dark side too

But she was taken
Far too soon
A vision fading
From my view

Left with memories
And feelings and dreams
Crushed, broken
Shattered they seem

Fleeting times

Carving our names
In the shade of the tree

Like a rushing wind
