"just giving my friend some emotional support because his husband decided to be unfaithful."
"i told you i stopped talking nick, why can't you let it go?" he trailed his eyes over at leo. i look at leo and see he was on the verge of tears.
i look between both of them before patting romans shoulder and walking out. i stop when i see theo standing there. "are they-"
"just let them sort things out." i tell him.
he nods slowly before walking away. i watch him as he does. i felt bad for him. he's only eleven years old and he's already going through it all.

"hey ang, how was your weekend?" mia walks up to me and stands by my locker. i take my book out and shut the locker door before turning to face her.
"boring and lame. the new girl is annoying and honestly i just want them to hurry up and kidnap her so she can leave." i sigh.
she giggled and looked over my shoulder. i turn around and see my uncle kash walking up to me.
"hey angy, joey told me he can't pick you up again today so i'm giving you a ride after soccer practice, is that okay?" i nod and smile at him.
"it's fine, thanks kash." he nods and walks away.
i looked back at mia and see she was practically drooling over him. "don't even think about it."
she pouts. "but he's hot."
"he's also graduating high school this year idiot." she sighs.
"i guess." she mumbled. we link our arms together and walk to class.
"how about theo, can i have a chance with him?" she asked making me roll my eyes.
"first of all, he's like two years younger than you and third i think he's gay." she stopped and looked at me.
"why would you think that?"
i shrugged. "maybe because all he does is tease my brother around and talk to a lot of guys and no
girls."
"doesn't prove anything." she shrugged and walked away. "maybe he's just girl shy."
i rolled my eyes and followed her to class.
let's just skip till the end of school
after school was finished i head over to the soccer field and wait for kash to finish up soccer practice i sit on the bench and stare out at the soccer field.
"watching your boyfriend play?" i heard a voice next to me.
i look over and see a blonde boy taking a seat next to me. i shook my head. "just waiting for my uncle to finish his practice so he can drive me home."
a smile formed on his lips. "so what i'm hearing is you're single?"
"and she's not interested." my brother walks up to us. he climbs the benches and sits down in front of us. i rolled my eyes at him.
"what do you want santiago?"
"you're forgetting that we're siblings and we got the same ride." he shook his head, theo walked up to us seconds later and sat down next to santiago.
"can't forget about me either." theo wrapped his arm around santiago's neck, they both smiled at us which weirded me out a bit.
the blonde boy chuckled and looked at me. "well i'm josh and it's nice to meet you all." he stood up from the bench. by now practice was over so everyone on the team came walking to the bench to grab their stuff. kash walked up to us and grabbed his things.
"i'm angelica." i smiled at him.
"i'll see you around angelica." he winked at me before walking away with another guy.
i blushed lightly and looked back at everyone else. they gave me an 'are you serious' look. "what?" they shook their head and got off bench.
we all start walking to kash's car. i felt someone wrap their arm around me. i look over and see that it was kash. "sorry angy, there's no way i'm letting you date that freshman." he unlocked the car and got in as so did the rest of us.
"i wouldn't allow it and joey would kill you after he kills that kid."
i rolled my eyes. "it's not like i'll actually ever see him again." i mumble. "this school is filled with too many people and i don't particularly stand out."
i stared out the window and notice josh had gotten in the black car next to us. he looked at me through the window and waved at me before getting in his car. i waved back but it was too late, kash had already made his way out of the parking lot.
