Pointless has started to become my new favourite word.
Because pointless is not talking to you,
Pointless is to waste this connection with you,
Pointless is to drive myself further away from you,
Pointless is to stop myself from thinking about you yet failing to,
Pointless is to yearn for you,
Pointless is to keep talking to you in my head rather than to you,
Pointless is to let the things accumulate to be shared with you,
Pointless is to give it all up or hope too,
Pointless is to see you in my dream—so real, so vivid, so chatty and gay,
And impossible to try not to think of you the rest of the day,
Pointless, pointless, so bloody pointless.
