~•Ruby's Pov•~
It's only been awhile since the Vytal festival has started. I'm fascinated by the teams and their weapons. Walking along the sidewalk in Vale with my team I wasn't looking where I was goi-
"Oof!" I exclaimed bumping into someone and I fall on my butt. I look up at the person I walked into and blushed.
"Hey watch where your going!!" My sister Yang yells at the girl. She looks a bit startled by Yang's sudden yelling.
"I-I'm sorry I wasn't looking.....I didn't mean to." She mumbles out and lends me a hand getting up.
"It's fine I also wasn't looking where I was going." I say with a smile on my face and her teammates come out behind her.
"I'm Y/n....and this is my team," She says looking at them "T/n1,T/n2, and T/n3 and we're t/m/n" She points out and smiles at them and I blush trying to hide it my cloak but Yang sees it and chuckles.
"I'm Ruby and this is Yang,Blake, and Weiss. We're team RWBY!" I say energetically and her face flushes a little. When that happens her teammate comes up from behind her and gives her a smile.

My teammate gives me a reassuring smile and I look back at Ruby.
"Are guys gonna be in the tournament?" T/n2 asks and I look at him. Yang looks at him and gives him a smile.
"Yeah! Plus we got a super cute and cool leader." Yang says and Ruby blushes. Oh so she has a girlfriend. I look at them and let out a little laugh. I don't see Ruby looking at me and the little blush on her face.
"Well..good luck..we must get going now.." I say a little disappointed because I don't want to stop talking to Ruby. Relax Y/n you just met her what's wrong with you?
"Ok but we'll see you out there T/m/n!" Ruby exclaims and the other girls nod. T/n1 smiles at my blushing face as we turn around and start walking towards the academy.

•~Ruby's Pov~•
What's wrong with me!? I can't stop thinking about her! That smile laugh was enough to drive me over the edge as Yang would say it. What does that even mean? I'm not watching where I'm going and bump into someone. They're about to fall but I grab onto her arm and keep her still. When I see her face she has a small smile on her face.
"N-nice bumping into you again Ruby..." she stutters and I look at her.
"Well thanks for falling for me," After I say it i realize what I said and start blushing, "N-not like that but..like thanks for falling into me..hold on I-I u-um." I get out stuttering and Y/n's face is really red. She's blushing.
"Well...um thanks for catching me..." She says letting out a little laugh. I blush Wow I thought to myself.
"So where are your teammates?" I ask her and she looks up at me.
"There talking to team CRDL." She says emphasizing the 'talking'.
"Why what happened?" I ask her and she looks down.
"They where picking on me a little." She says continuing to look down and her face is a bit red signifying that she's embarrassed to talk about it.
"They always where just a bunch of bullies!" I exclaimed stomping my foot on the ground making her laugh.
"I guess...so...want to maybe...h-hang out?" She asked blushing and my face begins to heat up.
"S-sure!" I stutter and she blushes. She walks next to me with her head down and we walk down the hall.
"Y/N!?" I turn around to see Pyrrha she runs up to her and hugs her. What just happened!? Y/n hugs back and she smiles.
"Hello Pyrrha it's really good to see you again.." She says and I can't help but feel a bit of jealousy.
"You two know each other?" I ask her and Y/n looks at me letting go of Pyrrha.
"Yeah She was one of my friends in Argus!" Pyrrha exclaims happily and Y/n looks down embarrassed. Pyrrha smiles at her and picks her head up with one of her fingers. I feel another pang of jealousy and try not to give Pyrrha a stink eye.
"Y/n? Can we hang out now?" I ask her and she looks at me and blushes. Pyrrha smiles at her.
"You two are hanging out? Can I join?" Pyrrha asks and Y/n's about to say something but I cut her off.
"No," I exclaim and Y/n blushes even more, "I mean I want to go out with Y/n like a d-date!" I exclaimed again and she looks down her face is super red.
"Oh...ok! Enjoy your date you two," Pyrrha says, "We'll talk later Y/n." Pyrrha walks away and leaving me and a blushing Y/n alone.
"A...d-date? But d-don't you have a girlfriend?" She asked me and I look at her.
"No? Who did you think was my girlfriend?" I ask her. She looks down embarrassed.
"Yang..." She continues to look down and I laugh a little.
"Y-Yang is my sister!" I exclaimed and she begins to laugh.
"W-wow how stupid of me!" She continues to laugh and I grab her hand and peck her cheek. She blushes and I let a laugh out.
"No, but I would enjoy taking you out and becoming your girlfriend." I try to flirt and she blushes. I celebrate inside my head and we walk to go down to the city of Vale.
"I-I would enjoy that...as well." She says and I smile at her a faint blush spreading on my cheeks.
"Come on I know the best places to have a date." I say and hold her hand as we go.

•~Your Pov~•
"I had a good time Ruby." I say losing my shyness of a second and she blushes.
"M-me too!" She exclaimed. We're walking to my dorm. Once we get to the door I stop and look at her.
"Thank you..." I say and she nods a little. I smile at her and give her a quick kiss on the lips. I reach for the door but Ruby grabs my hand and she pulls me in for a longer kiss. Once we're done I grab my key and open the door waving at Ruby as she blushes. Once I walk in and close the door my teammates all look at me.
"Where in the world of Remnant have you been?" T/n1 asked and I blush and walk to my bed.
"On a date..."
