After I had calmed down a bit, Tom and I sat down on my bed.
"Why did u come here?" I asked wiping away and tears
"I saw you through the window"
"Thanks for coming" I smiled
He licked his lips "of course, but what happened?"
I hesitated and stared into his eyes, I could trust tom. He's my friend now.
"My parents just told me their getting a divorce"
He looked genuinely sad, like he cared about me. "I'm sorry y/n"
"Don't apologize, I just-"
I was cut of by a knock on my door. Me and Tom both looked at the door in panic.
"Sweetie we need a chance to explain"
I was to scared about how mad my parents would be if they found a boy in my room. I shoved Tom behind my bed and went towards the door.
"Dad leave, I'm....busy" I spoke through the door. I was leaning against the door when he opened it. My heart was pounding.
"Dad!" I said as he came in
"we need to talk"
"Later I promise I'm doing something"
I was pushing him but he wasn't budging. Eventually he got the hint I really wanted him to leave, so he left.
I sighed and plopped on my bed.
Tom arose from the side of my bed "That was close"
After that Tom left and I was alone with my thoughts again. I was so mad angry and confused. My head hurt from all of this and I decided to go to sleep. I have all of tomorrow to worry about this.
