I woke up to the text ding of my phone. I guess I forgot to turn my ringer off. I decided to rollover & check. First thing I saw was the time.
3:47 am.
Just below the time I saw a text from my boyfriend.
"It was bad." Knowing what he was talking about I pulled myself out of bed. I grabbed the room key that had 'CS' written on it & left my room.
I entered Cole's room to see him sitting up in his bed. Shirt off, hair a mess, and head in his hands. Another nightmare had gotten him.
He turned to look at me when he heard the door close. I saw relief wash over his tired face.
"Do you wanna talk about it?" I asked.
He shook his head.
"I just need you right now." He said in a shaky raspy voice.
With that I climbed into bed next to him. He laid down & put his arms around me pulling me close to him & nuzzling his face into the crook of my neck.
"Thank you." he said as he placed a kiss on my shoulder.
