31: Getting Ready

My eyes slowly opened and was greeted by a clean coffee table with a note addressed to me, I blinked away the sleepiness and reached for the piece of paper

I thought I'd clean up for you. I'm glad that we got to spend some time together again <3

I smiled and kept the note before turning to Ash, who was still asleep "Ash, wake up..." She mumbled a few things before opening her eye to look at me "Mm... What time is it..?" I reached for my phone, which was next to me, and checked the time

Friday ××/××/19 12:25 AM

My eyes flew open and I jumped up from my place in the couch which led to Ash falling off "What the hell? You scared me...," She shouted while clutching her heart. My panic subsided as I helped her up "Sorry... I just remembered something..." "What was so important that you nearly gave me a heart-attack?" I blushed and rubbed my arm nervously "...I have a date" Ash smirked "Ohoho! Is it with who I think it is~?" My cheeks tinted a brighter red as I slowly nodded

Ash squealed before she hugged me tightly "Is that why you asked me to come last night?!" I  nodded "Yeah, I need dating  advice..." She pulled away and quickly pushed me upstairs "Well, that was a smart idea. Now, let's get to work!"

**Timeskip**

"Y/NN!! Come out, I wanna see you!" I heard Ash yell from my bedroom. With one last look at myself in the mirror I walked out of the bathroom and into the next room. Ash was laying upside-down on my bed, she looked away from her phone to see me nervously rubbing my arm; I was wearing a simple black dress, with a matching white jacket on top, and black flats (I don't know fashion. If you can think of better, then go ahead)

Ash stood up from my bed and led me to my desk "You look good, trust me" I gave her a small smile "Th-thanks..." She beamed and grabbed her bag off the bed, which had a bunch of makeup. I looked at her in confusion "Did you bring that here yesterday?" Ash just chuckled "Never mind that, now, hush and close your eyes"

After she put the finishing touches on my makeup and hair "Done!" I opened my eyes and see Ash handing a mirror to me "What do you think?" In the mirror I see a subtle red around my eyes and some light pink lipstick, sweet and simple. Next, I noticed how my hair is up in a bun with a flower pin. (Again, if that's not your style feel free to change it) I put the mirror down on my desk and went to hug Ash "You are the best friend ever!" A couple seconds later I felt her hug me back "Glad you liked  it"

**Earlier With Wilford: 7:06 AM**

"Which one looks better? The stripes or no? Should I bring my hat? No, that's too much! Maybe just casual wear? And what gifts should I get her? Flowers are too cliche... So are chocolates... A new game?"

"Wilford, the date's at 6 PM!"
