"what? really?" i accidentally blurted, i heard a few of my classmates laugh. though, i didn't really mind them.

"yes, y/n." she answered. "also, today, i won't be teaching math for two weeks only." the others cheered.

"wait, why though?" amy asked her.

"we will be having an activity. all of you will be taking music classes." she answered, i cheered. (because yay, music classes again!)

"when will the music class start?" i asked.

"it'll start in two minutes." she answered "please wait for your teacher for the music class. he'll be here in a moment." she added, ms. abbie went out of the door.

finally, the classroom got really quiet for a minute. while i was waiting for the class to start, i took my small sketchpad and doodled a few random stuff. i don't draw neatly but i only draw if i was in the mood.

i couldn't help but doodle cats, and the cats were actually fig.

"i miss fig, he was so soft and cuddly.." i thought. my thoughts were snapped as we heard the door open.

it wasn't our music teacher from last year, it was a new one.

"good morning, everyone." the guy greeted, all of us sat there silent. we still didn't know who he is.

"so, your teacher in music last year was ms. smith, am i correct?" he asked, all of us answered "yes."

"well, instead of ms. smith teaching you, i am the one who'll be teaching music this year." he answered.

"call me mr. skinner, by the way." he wrote on the board and it suddenly rang a bell in my head. "if you have any questions, you can ask."

i rose my hand.

"yes, miss.." he tried guessing my name.

"l/n, y/n l/n." i answered.

"miss l/n." he continued. "do you have a question?"

all eyes were on me but i shrugged and randomly asked him.

"are you.. somehow related to.. a guy named robin skinner?" i hesitated, mr. skinner just sighed.

"well, yes. i am, miss l/n." he replied. "any more questions?" he asked again.

i couldn't help but grin mentally, i've never met robin's father yet. even though i went to robin's house multiple times, i've never met him yet. robin told me he was kind of a busy man.

he started teaching us how to sight read. (reading musical notes)

ms. smith didn't teach us reading those stuff, all she taught us was the history of music.

"does anyone know what this is called?" he asked us while he was he wrote on the board. "this.." he pointed at his drawing. "..is called the g clef."

we've discussed about the staff, the notes c, d, e, f, g, a, b, and how we can identify the notes..

the class just ended and most of the students got outside to get food from the cafeteria. i went out of the classroom and walked towards the cafeteria.

while i was walking, mr. skinner called me.

"may i kindly have a word with you?" mr. robin asked politely, i nodded.

"how did you know about robin?" he asked. "are you one of his fans?"

"oh, well not really, sir.." i stuttered. "i'm actually his friend."
