Everything went fast forward parang yesterday lang we were practicing for the first game and now finals na. It's us against the blue eagles. We can't let them win. This is for us, for Ate Aby, for the school, for our family.
Sobrang ingay sa MOA Arena. Everyone's chanting their winning team.
"Wag kabahan, this is it. This is our time to regain what we've lost. Satin na ito, let's claim it!"
We are determined, very much actually. Tango lang kami ng tango sa mga sinasabi ni Coach, Ate Aby lead the prayers.
"Let's do this Lady Spikers!!!" With so much enthusiasm we released our angst.
"Let's kill 'em!!"
We all went out, determined to win, focused, but of course playing with our big hearts.
Coach gave us our game play, bangko muna ko pahinga ng kaunti nabanat ako last game eh.
With a whistle the game started.

"Bakit bangko pa si Mika?"
My sister and I have the same sentiments. Why nga kaya?
"Prolly nagpapahinga, rumatsada kasi siya last game di ba ng bleed daw yung right arm niya?"
"Seryoso?"
Athlete ako, I know how hard it is na mainjured ka lalo na big game? It happened to me once, sobrang heartbreaking.
"But can she play?"
"They said she can, baka kaya bangko muna."
Thirdy answered without taking off his eyes on the game. Umpisa palang mainit na ang laban, walang tapon, parehas ayaw patalo.
"I hope I see her play, siya kaya inaabangan ko always." Dani said with pout pa, pwedeng pangnumber 1 fan ang sister ko.
We were all focused sa game ganda ng laban grabe. Dikitan na eh, pinasok na finally si Mika. Tilian lahat ng tao sa Arena. Lakas ng hatak.
"Idol!!" I guess Thirdy can't help it anymore. Nagtinginan tuloy mga tao samin. Nahiya siguro si Thirdy kaya nagfollow up. "Galing mo Gretchen!!"
Hindi ko napigilan natawa ako.
"Ingay mo kasi." I said to him.
"Blocked by Mika Reyes and Ara Galang!!"
"Whoo!!" Pati ako napasigaw dun. Oops sorry, nacarried away.
Naghigh five si Galang at Reyes then hugged each other. Kaya na-iissue eh, it is true kaya? That they're lesbo? Ano ba to nahahaluan na ko ng pagiging chismoso ni Thirdy.
"Single blocked by Mika Reyes!"
Wow ah. 2 blocks agad? Ozom! Everyone went crazy mejo lamang na ang DLSU. I gotta stop watching them.
"Go Ateneo!! One big fight!!"
I chanted like the rest of us who's rooting for the Blue Team.

In the end DLSU Lady Spikers won, nakuha muli namin ang championship and it's such a sweet win.
Everyone is crying sobrang emotional kami because this is our Captain's last game at masaya kami because we won. Magandang pabaon sa pagalis niya.
"Thank you girls."
We hugged each other and made a short thank you prayer.
Daming tao, everyone wants to have a picture with us, the other team went to us and hugged us. Malungkot kami para sa kanila but this is a game kailangan talagang may manalo.
