"how do you think we're doing?" dan asked. he was propped on his elbows so he could see phil's face in the dimly lit room, the small streaks of sun flattering the older's porcelain skin. "relationship wise."

"i think we're great. i mean, i don't want to change anything and when we talk about our future i'm being deadass. i don't know if we're ready to be official, you know, with the government yet, but i know we will be. i think we're steady and healthy. was there something you want to change?" phil wrapped a arm around dan's waist to pull him closer, dan immediately adjusting by moving one of his arms to the other side of phil's head. he didn't bother completely moving to straddle his boyfriend.

"as much as i want to say i want you to stop eating my cereal, i find it very endearing and it's one of the things i miss when you leave." dan giggled and pecked phil's lips softly. they were so happy and nothing could change that.

"i love you so much. i'm proper in love with you."
