Your POV

"Come on Y/n!" I hear Shawns voice as I slip on my shoes. 

"I'm coming just a minuet!" I yell back so he can hear me. 

"You said that fifteen minutes ago!" He shouts back and I get up and walk to the front.

"I'm ready." I say like it took no time at all and he just smiles and shakes his head.

We are headed to a party right now at one of Shawn's cousins house. 

Shawn has been looking forward to this ever since he got back from tour. His cousin James always throws one huge rager every year.

"So if we both end up getting drunk we can either leave my car at James' place and get an uber home or we can crash at his place." Shawn says and I look at him and tilt my head to the side a little bit.

"Exactly how drunk are you planning to get tonight?" I ask him and he shrugs.

"I guess we'll just have to see where the night takes us." He says and I chuckle a little bit.

We arrive at the house that's already full of people both inside and outside of the house.

We park the car in an empty space in the yard before going in the house hand in hand.

"Shawn! Y/n! You made it!" James says and comes over and greets us.

"Hey man!" Shawn says and hugs his cousin.

"Nice to see you guys again." James says and we hug.

"This party looks awesome!" I say and look around. 

He's got a freakin bounce house outside, a hot tub, a huge drink table, he's got games going, music going, dancing, and lots of food. 

"Thanks. Well you guys go and enjoy everything." He says and we go our separate ways.

"Do you see y/bff's/n anywhere?" I ask Shawn and look around.

"No I don't. Wait. There she is." Shawn says and points to Y/bff's/n who is sitting on the couch surrounded by guys.

I laugh a little bit when I see her.

"I'm going to get us some drinks. I'll meet you in the living room." Shawn says and I nod.

I walk over to y/bff's/n and she gets up happily when she sees me. 

"Y/n!" She says and when she's close enough I can tell she's drunk. 

She hugs me tightly and I laugh.

"I can tell you've had a lot to drink." I say and she laughs with me.

"Yeah I have. Why aren't you drunk? You don't come to James' parties and not get drunk." She says.

"Shawns actually getting us drinks right now." I say and she nods and plops back down on the couch.

"Here babe." Shawn says placing his hand on my back and handing me a drink.

"First of the night." I say and then Shawn and I chug down our drinks before getting another.

We all sat around talking and laughing as we began to drink more and more.

"Y/n look they have flip cup! Let's go play." Shawn says and grabs my hand pulling me from the couch and taking me along with him over to the flip cup table.
