Y/n's POV  at a party

I make my way through the large crowded room trying to find Shawn.

Everything is starting to feel a little mixed up. We've been here for a while celebrating a friends birthday and it's been a blast.

I get bumped around a little and I try not to spill any drink out of my cup.

Finally, I reach a much less crowded area and spot Shawn standing with some of our friends.

"Hey, babe!" I say and wrap my arm around his waist. He puts an arm over me and kisses my forehead.

"Hey, where'd you go?" He asks me.

"Drink" was all I say and then take a step forward and stumble a little. I've lost count of just how many drinks I've had.

Shawn grabs my arms and holds me up with a laugh.

"I'm ready to head home and I think it's a good idea for you too." He says and I nod.

"Sounds like cool beans to me!" I say.

"Alright, guys." Shawn says. "We'll see you later." He takes my hand in his and leads me outside to the car.

"This was fun!" I say and he opens the car door and helps me in.

"It was. I'm glad you had a good time." He says and as he's buckling my seat belt, I get the urge to just kiss him.

"I wanna kiss you." I say and laugh.

He looks at me and smiles.

"Well you're in luck because I really want to kiss you too." He says and I wrap my arms around him and pull him into a deep kiss.

He places one hand on my hip and grips my thigh with the other.

I could stay here kissing him all night, but he pulls away.

"I'd love to keep this going, but we do have to get home at some point." He says and I nod.

He gets in the car and reaches in the back seat for his back pack and pulls out a bottle of water for me.

I drink it on the way and Shawn and I talk about various things. I feel myself sobering up a little.

When we're finally back in our apartment, I'm feeling a little more stable.

"Sorry for all of that craziness." I say and run my hand through my hair and laugh.

"Don't apologize." He says and wraps his hands around my waist. "I like where it got us." He says and places a kiss on my lips.

He pulls away and I smirk.

"Oh really?" I ask him and run a hand through his hair.

"Mhm." He says.

"I was thinking we could have our own little party upstairs." He says and so I take his hand and go to the stairs.

I make it up maybe three before stumbling.

"I think you need a little help." Je says and picks me up and throws me over his shoulder.

I laugh and slap his butt.

"Got a nice view from here." I say and he laughs.

When we get to the room, he sets me back on my feet and wraps me back up in his arms.

He places kisses all over my jaw and down my neck.

"I love you." I say and look at him.

"I love you too." He says and looks around.

"You know what this party needs?" He asks me.

"What?"

"Dancing." He says and grabs the bluetooth speaker on the dresser and turns it on.

Soft music plays and he extends a hand to me.

"Shall we?" He asks and I can't help but smile at just how cute he is.

"We shall." I place my hand in his and and he pulls me in close.

I look into his eyes for a moment and then rest my head on his chest.

I guess I didn't realize just how much I needed this moment right here until now.

We've both been so busy so this is really nice. To be here with him like this.

I look back up at him and stand on my tip toes and kiss him.

"You're absolutely amazing." I say and he smiles.

"I feel the same about you." He says before we continue kissing and then the night went on.

After a long while of being inactive...I am happy to announce that I will be publishing the first couple chapter of my new story Everything Means Nothing very soon!

I am so excited about this because I'm really looking forward to getting back in the swing of things.
