Jake- Where did she go?
Jake- Maybe she went to her sister.
From Jake's pov.:
I walked to Jen's doctor office and went inside. El was standing at the reception desk helping someone. And then she spotted me and came my way.
El- Hi Jake.
Jake- Hi. Is Jen here?
El- No... she's not. Why would she be here?
Jake- Something happened... And she got upset and ran off. And I thought she came to you.
El- What happened?
Jake- Don't be mad at me... But....
El- What did you do?
Jake- I... I tried to kiss her.
El- You did what?
Jake- I...
El- No. I heard you. Why did you do that?
Jake- Things were going well between us. I mean she lets me touch her. Last night when I massaged her. And I thought I should make a move on her.
El- And this is why you thought you could kiss her?
Jake- El. I'm sorry.
El- Jake I told you not to push her into anything.
Jake- I know I'm sorry. Do you know where she might be?
El- I know where she is. But I will go. It's better you stay away for now.
Jake- I'm so sorry.
El- I'll handle it. Don't worry.
El left and I decide a beer would be nice right now and went to the bar.
Jen's pov.:
I went to my place and just stared out to the view. Thinking about so many things.
And then I heard someone come behind me.
El- Jen?
I turned around to face her.
Jen- Hey.
El- Are you ok?
Jen- Yeah... Jake tried to kiss me...
El- I know. He came to me. And told me.
Jen- He came to you?
El- He was looking for you.
Jen- He was looking for me?
El- He cares about you Jen.
Jen- I guess so. I don't know. I'm so confused.
El- Do you like him?
Jen- No... maybe... yes. I mean he's nice. And sweet. And so gorgeous.
She giggles...
El- Well he likes you.
Jen- He makes me feel comfortable I mean when I'm with him I'm comfortable. Yes I like him but with my past its hard to know if I can trust him.
El- I think you should tell him.
Jen- You think?
El- Yes so he can understand why you're afraid. So he can understand why you're having doubts. You need to tell him everything.
Jen- You're right.
El- Tell me something. Did you want to kiss him too?
Jen- Part of me wanted to. I was forgetting about Bryan. And then he said his name. And everything came back. The doubts. I'm not ready yet.
El- Go tell him. He's at the bar.
Jen- Ok. Thanks sis.
El- Good luck.
I left and went to the bar to go talk to Jake about my past.
