Chapter Eleven

"Investment? Tamang tama may investment din ako. May ipapatayo akong bagong hotel. So, yang firm mo ang kukunin kong gagawa. For free." Nakangising sabi ni Lance.

"For free?" Napangunot-noo naman si Warren. "Dude, kahit kaibigan kita, hindi ko gagawin yang hotel mo ng libre. Before, mga designs lang yung ginagawa ko para sa inyo, kaya libre. Pero hindi na ngayon, Business na ito." Napapailing pa na wika niya.

Warren designed Jax's Bar, Bjorne's malls and airports, Lance's hotels.

"Let's have a bet." Hamon ni Lance.

"Bet?"

"Let's play billiard. Kapag nanalo ako. Free service from your firm."

"At kapag ako nanalo?"

"Free accomodation from my hotel. Sa lahat ng branches."

"Game"

And so they play. They're on their third set of game when Jax and Bjorne came to join them. One all ang score.

Lance's drinks is on the table, silently watching Warren taking his turn on the game.

Bjorne tapped Warren's shoulders causing his shot to miss.

"Bjorne!" Warren tsked. There are only two balls left on the table before Lance could loss.

Lance grinned widely at Bjorne. Looks like it was intentional.

"Warren, makikiraan." Lance said, still grinning.

Minutes has passed and Lance was able to win the billiard game. Lance's prize would be a free service from Warren's construction firm to his new hotel branch. Not bad. And now the match was between Jax and Bjorne. Jax bet a free membership fee for three months while Bjorne bet free supplies from his mall for three months as well.

Jax's on the winning side since the remaining three balls are in shooting distance. That's before when Lance put the bottle on the billiard table.

"Lance, baka tumapon yan dyan." Jax said. Being meticulous, Jax didn't want to give his employees another work aside that it would be very sticky. Lance just grinned and did not removed the bottle.
Maingat na tinira ni Jax ng tako ang bola sa pangambang baka mauga niyon ang bote. And he missed.

"Damn!" He looked murderously at Lance who just smiled and drink straight into the bottle.

Bjorne managed to hit the balls towards the goal. Lance laughed loudly when he saw the look on Jax's face. Warren shook his head. Looks like nadaya na naman silang magpinsan.
Itinukod ni Bjorne ang mga kamay nito sa billiard table habang nakangisi. " So, my membership fee is free for three months."

Warren drink straight from the bottle. "Dapat pinsan tayo na lang naglaban. Ganda pala ng premyo mo."

"I was tricked" Jax grab a new bottle on the table and pour himself on the wine glass.

Warren knew na hindi nito gustong tunggain ang alak sa bote. It's inappropriate aside from being dirty. According to his very OC cousin.

"You should use a wine glass for drinking" hindi nakatiis na sabi nito sa kanila. See? Warren's right.

"Hindi kami tsiks.." Lance answered that made them laughed.

"It's not being a chic, it's about health.." he smelled the wine before taking a sip. "Baka may kalawang 'yan.."

"So, you're saying that the bottles produce by your company is not clean?" Warren asked sarcastically.

"We used machine to sterilize the bottles and corks, pero hindi mo pa din masasabi yan.."

Bjorne scratched his eyebrows while holding the bottle. "Alam mo pare.." lumapit ito kay Jax at inakbayan ito. Napansin ni Warren na napatingin ito sa damit nito na bahagyang nalukot. And knowing his cousin, aandar na naman pagkamaarte nito. He smirked nang makita niyang pinalis nito ang kamay ni Bjorne at marahang pinagpag ang balikat at inayos ang kuwelyo. "..kaysa alalahanin mo ang pangangalawang ng bote, alalahanin mo ang nangangalawang sa iyo.." then Bjorne looked down on his crotch. That statement making them laughed.

"Tang-ina, Bjorne.." Lance said in between laughter. "Muntik ko ng maibuga yung ininom ko."

"Hindi porke't wala kayong nakikitang kasama kong babae, ay hindi na ako nambababae.." pagtatanggol nito sa sarili. Yeah, Jax is not the type to display his girls like them.

"Talaga ba, pare?" Lance asked with a wicked smile. "Napansin ko lang, lately ang kapal na ng kamay mo.."

"Kalyo?" nagtatakang tanong ni Warren. Then he smiled as if getting the inside joke. "Taragis.."

Jax then managed to catch on the humor and just laugh with them. "Eh sayo Mondejar, anong kinakalyo sayo?"

Bjorne grinned from ear to ear before answering. "Dila.."

They were silent for a few seconds then:

"Kadiri ka, Mondejar!" - Warren.

"Ina mo, kahit imoral ako, hindi kita kinaya!" - Lance

"Pacheck up ka, gago. Baka may sakit ka na!" Jax said and drink his wine.

Ganyan silang mag-asaran. He's lucky to have them as his friends. Malaki ang naitulong ng mga ito para makacope up siya sa mabilis na pagbabago ng buhay niya. His cousin Jackson Madrigal introduced him to his childhood friends, Bjorne and Lance, and they welcomed him and treat him as if they knew him for a long time. Alam nila ang nakaraan niya. The story of that bitch who just used him. His friends helped him change his style. Naging gym buddies din niya ang mga ito. He didnt wear eyeglasses more often. Hindi naman daw ganoon kalabo ang mga mata niya, Kaya nadaan pa sa operasyon. And now, the nerd Warren is gone. The Warren now is one of the hottest men in the metro.
