The book 1 finale is so near na pala. As in like, dalawa o tatlong updates na lang 'to. Haha. 'Di ko namalayan, seryoso. After LWTH eh dito na muna sa series na 'to ang focus ko. Wala eh. Nakakawalang-gana na kasi magsulat sa PA Series. At least dito, lesser readers and no toxic people.

Dahil alam kong apat na klaseng tao lang ang nagbabasa nito: Fantasy story fanatics, Boku no Hero Academia fanatics, Potterheads, and a combination of the three.

At least we have a common interest. Labyu. 'Di gaya sa LWTH... Ugh... Toxic people. 😑😑😑 Mas masaya na ako sa kaunti but appreciative readers ko rito. Yey. I need a hug.

Emerald.

Christmas vacation passed swiftly. At ngayon nga ay naglalakad na naman ako papasok ng school. Halos ako pa lang ang tao sa buong paligid lalo pa't Sabado ngayon at bukas pa ang dating ng bulto ng mga nagdo-dorm. Hapon na ako dumating dito. Sabay kaming bumalik ni RB at naghiwalay na lang kami sa train station.

And of course, may plano akong gawin kaya maaga akong napunta rito sa Emerald.

"Hey, Ike. You're a bit early, huh?" tawag sa 'kin ni Professor Sivera na kasalukuyang nagjo-jogging.

"Good afternoon po, sir," bati ko naman.

"See you in Combat Ed. I've prepared a ton of new activities for the class!" habol niyang sigaw sa 'kin.

There is a building in this school devoted only for the residences of the teachers and other staff. The headmistress, on the other hand, lives in the Emerald Building. I don't think that the teachers stay here during Christmas and summer breaks, though.

It's a good thing that he did not stay to talk. I don't feel like lying to him about the true purpose of my early arrival here in Emerald.

I was about to walk again when another voice called me.

"A very pleasant afternoon to you, my dear boy."

Snap.

I turned around and... blinked twice.

Professor Evanesca is currently wearing what I judged as a corporate attire. Her usual flowing and sweeping emerald robes were gone. Instead, she's wearing green slacks paired with a green coat and a green scarf which was wrapped neatly around her neck. She's also wearing a green hat placed precariously on her head.

"I know it's strange to see me wearing pants but I actually like them a lot. I wear pants for my agent costume, you see. It allows me to move freer and faster. And quite honestly, it's more fun to kick villains' butts with pants on. It's just awkward on my usual attire," the headmistress said.

I stared at her. Mas mukha siyang nakikipag-usap sa sarili niya kesa sa 'kin.

"Anyway, I just arrived from France. I went to a magical school there. I still have a bit of jet lag. I'm not fond of flying, my dear boy. Oh dear, I must be getting really old," she said as she stretched her back a bit.

"I have to go... Thank you for taking care of Rubio while I'm away. He didn't do anything bad in your place, did he?" tanong niya sa 'kin.

I shook my head. "Wala naman po."
