"You froze your upper body and burned your lower body. Perfect," iritang sabi sa 'kin ni Nurse Juliana nung nagising na rin ako sa wakas.

"W-Where's everybody?" tanong ko.

"They're in the surveillance room right now. We're still inside the Diamond Battle Dome. Franco asked me to help in case someone gets injured. And here you are! One of my first customers!" sagot niya.

"Pasensya na po."

"I cannot fully heal your frostbite and burns. Magical healing alters the natural healing of the human body. Once your body gets used to magical healing, the natural healing process of your body slows down dramatically. It's dangerous. Isang binti at kamay mo lang ang ginamot ko para makagamit ka ng saklay. Don't worry, they'll heal overnight," sabi niya.

"So magical healing is like drugs..."

"I don't like that analogy but yes, that's correct. It damages you on a long term basis. Don't remove your bandages! You have to go back here for your check up tomorrow," sabi niya.

"Si Alice po?" tanong ko pa.

"She's fine already. Pinalabas ko na siya kanina," sagot niya.

"So pwede na rin po akong makaalis?" tanong ko naman.

Nurse Juliana sighed. "Franco told me that I shouldn't deprive you of the chance to watch your classmates. Yes, you can go now. Gamitin mo 'tong saklay."

"Salamat po!" sabi ko naman.

Inayos niya muna 'yung arm support ko sa kaliwang kamay bago niya nilagay sa kanang kili-kili ko 'yung saklay. So basically, I don't have any free hand to use.

The surveillance room was not far from Nurse Juliana's station. Pagkakita sa 'kin ng iba kong mga kaklase ay agad nila akong pinagkaguluhan.

"You were so cool, man!" sabi ni Jack sabay hampas sa braso ko.

"AW! NOT THAT!" sigaw ko.

Lumapit sa 'kin si Asha. She's the smoke weirdo. Asha can turn herself to smoke and move around stealthily.

"I'm really sorry for the trouble that my weirdness gave you earlier," sabi niya.

"It's okay. I actually want to thank you. Kung hindi dahil sa weirdness mo eh hindi ko magagawa kung ano man 'yung... nagawa ko kanina," sabi ko.

"But you were really awesome earlier!" sabi ng isa ko pang kaklase na si Cedric. "Your plan was perfect! And your final moves... Just wow."

Ngumiti na lang ako.

"Congratulations, Ike. Job well done," bati naman sa 'kin ni Professor Sivera.

"Salamat po."

Agad ko namang hinanap sina Alice at Zed. Nakita ko silang nakatayo sa isang tabi.

"Hallelujah, you're alive!" bungad sa 'kin ni Alice.

"Okay ka na ba?" tanong ko sa kanya.

"More than fine!" she said, hugging me tightly.

"Aw. Let go," sabi ko naman agad.

"Thanks, Ike. You were marvelous back there," sabi ni Zed sabay tapik nang marahan sa balikat ko.
