Chapter 23: First Meeting

Wala sa sarili akong lumabas ng Emerald Building. Professor Romeus offered to teleport me to our room but I refused. I'm not that fond of the effects of teleportation. Kahit hanggang ngayon ay tila nahihilo pa rin ako.

Professor Evanesca told me that I'll know the result by tomorrow. She'll probably have my samples tested through magical testing methods. She also told me that no matter how far my blood relation to Elijah is, the test will find even the tiniest connection with him. Magic.

I just immediately walked to our room for the Potions class.

Naabutan ko 'yung apat na nakatambay lang sa labas ng room namin.

"Why are you here?" bungad ko sa kanila.

"Professor Algarez gave a second chance to our classmates who weren't able to concoct a decent Obedience Potion last meeting. She just gave us an assignment. Kakalabas lang namin, actually," sagot ni Faye.

"I see. Cafeteria na lang tayo," sabi ko naman.

"Bakit ka pala pina-iwan ni Sir Romeus?" tanong naman agad sa 'kin ni Jack.

"I was brought to the headmistress' office-"

"Again?" tanong naman ni Alice.

"Yeah. Kinuhanan nila ako ng samples para sa isang DNA test," sagot ko.

"DNA test for what?" tanong ni Faye.

"Malakas ang hinala nila na ako ang susunod na Prime Elemental. Even the headmistress herself told me that she's almotst a hundred percent sure that I am the inheritor of that weirdness. Kinuhanan nila ako ng samples para i-match kay Elijah Serria," I said.

"And who the hell is that?" tanong ni Jack.

"He's the last Prime Elemental. He studied here in Emerald in 2312 and he died at the age of 21. May kinalaban daw siyang villain group. Natalo raw niya 'yung grupo pero sinakripisyo niya 'yung buhay niya para matalo 'yung kalaban," sagot ko.

"Cool," sabi ni Jack.

"What will happen if you're related indeed to that Elijah?" tanong ni Faye.

"I'll become a special student. At sina Professor Romeus at Professor Evanesca ang mga magtuturo sa 'kin," sagot ko.

"Really?! Are you serious?!" gulat na tanong ni Jack.

I nodded.

"Wow. The headmistress herself will teach you. Ganyan ka ka-special," sabi niya.

"Gusto mo ng autograph?" I said scornfully.

"I'm just happy for you, brad. Now you can prove everyone that you're not just an ordinary weirdo. You're the Prime Elemental! You should probably join in the Magical Mayhem this September!" sagot ni Jack.

"Again, hindi pa po sigurado. Bukas pa po ang resulta. Let's not jump instantly to conclusions, okay?" sabi ko.

"Pero si Professor Evanesca na mismo ang nagsabi na baka related nga talaga ikaw sa Prime Elemental. She's considered as the most powerful weirdo of our time and she rarely makes a mistake," sabi naman ni Alice.

"Yeah, great," I said absentmindedly.

"By the way, nakasalubong namin si Professor Sivera kanina. He told us that we were accepted in the Duellers' District! We'll be having our first meeting tonight at eight o'clock," sabi ni Jack.

Tumango na lang ako bago ako bumaling kay RB. Siniko ko siya nang bahagya.

"Hoy."

"I know that Ike loves me. He doesn't have to tell me what is obvious," sagot niya.
