Winter:

There's a place that only I know. A place where the snow falls black and the wind whispers melodies of haunting voices. There aren't any people. There aren't any animals. There's no sunshine.
Just rain, all through the day.
Constantly, the bleakest Winter.
I'd lived in that place for years, until I found a secret door and a crack of sunlight.
I escaped it.
And I truly believed that I'd never go back.
Until I saw it in his eyes. Jacin caught a glance of me lingering by the doorframe. And in moments he was wiping the tears away.
But every drop that fell was just too familiar to the rain that fell in that dark place. I could feel the winds drifting me back.
I could see it in his eyes.
Jacin was trying to be strong for me.
But I let him know that it was okay to be in that place, as long as we Foyt it together.
So I grabbed my umbrella, and strutted straight into the snow storm.
"Sir Clay, now we don't want you getting a cold in this rain. Put a coat on!"

And his smile was the secret door, filled with sunshine.
