48 - Trying To Move On

Start from the beginning

"Why is it so hard to move on?!"

The next day, I went back to my usual table at the library considering I fell asleep yet again once I got home instead of finishing all of my assignments. It's basically my routine. Go to uni in the earlier time possible so I could get my work done before my first class which luckily happens to be in the afternoon then go home and sleep. If I stayed at home to finish all of this, I would end up falling asleep on my bed again. I looked down on my vandal just to see something written down under it.

"I guess that's a question we all ask ourselves. Why? Did someone break your heart?"

Without thinking, I wrote back. It's actually not noticeable unless you lean forward if you're paranoid about me getting caught.

"Uh, yeah. It's not my fault boys are douche bags! They'll tell you they love you then cheat on you right after."

Days have passed and I've been having conversations with the mysterious guy through the table. Pathetic, I know but whatever.

"Not all guys are. Think of me as someone different from them."

"Oh, you're a guy?"

"I promise, I'm a good boy ;)"

"Hahaha okaaaay."

Y/bff/n walked in on me after I wrote that last part. She was curious about why I was smiling then read the writings before smirking at me and grabbing my ballpen out of my hand. I saw her write something but she kept blocking me whenever I tried to read it.

"Hahaha okaaaay. Btw do you have a girlfriend?"

"Y/bff/n! What the hell?!" I said snatching my pen back from her.

"Just helping you. You never know, he may be the one to take your mind off your ex." She said, shrugging.

After my classes, I went back to the library to start working on my essay for Creative Writing and y/bff/n decided to go with me since she's just too curious about the one writing back to me.

"Yeah. Almost 3 years. How about you and your guy?"

"Don't reply back. You'll be leading yourself on." Y/bff/n muttered.

"It's okay. It's practically a friendly chat anyway." I said, hiding my disappointment from her.

"Broke up 4 years ago. Petty but I just really loved him."
