THE NEXT MORNING, JAMES TOOK FREYA out the neighborhood for a walk. As said, his parents and Sirius were still out cold. And, it was Freya and James' last day together before they separate for Christmas Eve and Christmas day.

"It's too cold, James," Freya grumbled, rubbing her coat covered arms. "Why did we even walk out when we could've enjoyed your fireplace?"

James rolled his eyes playfully. He, then, wrapped his arm around Freya's shoulder and pulled her close. "If you wanted me to hug you, you could just say so."

Though blushing, Freya managed to roll her eyes. "Charming."

James chuckled. "Just kidding, Frey. I'd gladly hug you without consent."

Freya didn't even bother to hide her satisfied smile and James very much adored it. As they continued walking through the snowy neighbourhood, James spoke. "And also, you're going home after lunch. I wanted last minute privacy with you."

"As if two days wasn't enough." Freya teased.

"It's truly not, love." James teased back with a grin. "And besides, I wanted to give you my Christmas present."

James pulled his arm back from Freya and pulled out a small poorly wrapped box from his coat pockets. As he gave her the box, Freya gasped, "Oh, damn, James you shouldn't have! I haven't gotten you anything!"

"You have your way with over dramatic gasping, don't you?" James smirked. "And it's alright. You never had time to do gift shopping anyway — considering the next day after we got home from Hogwarts, you were preoccupied with me and meeting our families — so really, it's alright."

           "Still, I feel bad, I —"

James rolled his eyes and forced the box onto her palm. "Shut up and just take the gift, Freya."

Freya made a face but nevertheless, she started to unwrap the gift. It was a small jewelry box and when Freya opened it, her eyes glistened with the silver necklace. She carefully pulled it out the foam and she couldn't help but look confused as she saw the pendant. "J?"

James rolled his eyes. "James, duh?"

"So, you gave me a gift that's entirely about you?" Freya raised an eyebrow, holding up the necklace in the air between her and James.

When James nodded as if it was the most common sense in the world, Freya couldn't help but grinning and laughing. "Only you, James Potter."

"See, its purpose is," James grabbed the necklace from her hold. He walked behind her and wrapped the jewelry around her neck. He locked it behind her neck and when Freya turned around, he continued, "To let the entire world know you're mine."

As James stared at her with a grin, Freya rose her eyebrow teasingly. "I'm yours?"

"I mean, yeah, for the act." James said with a shrug.

Freya looked onto his eyes behind his glasses. With heart thumping, she asked, "Are we even still acting?"

James face fell for a minute. Then, he grinned and shrugged again before saying, "You tell me."
