The light passes through the dark

Without a worry of how it all starts

Traveling through the cold winter air

Without an once of dispair

Oblivious to all the cries

To all the lives taken from its path

It continues it journey

Never looking back, only looking ahead

With it we perish but without it we become the prey

Slowly it destroys us one by one, day by day

So what do we do, oh what do we do?

When theres a tragity amungst

No hope left to dream, no faith to rely

Only sorrow fills our veins, only pain pumped to our hearts

The light brings us to our knees

Killing us bit by bit

The pain consumes us inside and out

From the truth that was a lie

the smile that was a cry

So we walk with the light

Following it in its path

Praying to ourselves

That it will demolish us fast

Leaving behind a piece of hope

That will be trampled on and lost

Within the lights path....
