She immediately approached her and took the paper bag.

She went to the bleachers before checking what's inside.

There was a lunchbox inside. It was full of rice and adobong manok, her favorite.

She felt giddy because she already knew who it was from.

But the note under the lunchbox made her heart beat faster.

She couldn't take the smile off her face as she put the note safely away in her pocket.

"Beh, anuna?! Ngiting-aso ka diyan, ah. Ano ba yan?"

She saw her Beh, Jho, walking towards her.

Oh, no. Jho will definitely want to taste her food. But no! She doesn't want to share!

"Wala naman, Beh. Lunch lang. You should eat, too," she said.

"Kaya nga ako lumapit sayo, eh. Para sabay tayo. Saka mukhang masarap yan, ah! Share naman diyan, Beh!"

Damn.

There was no escaping Jho. It's not like she could give any valid reason to not share anyway. Huhuhu. She cried inside.

Before eating her lunch, she took a picture of it and posted it on her IG.

She was pacing outside the dugout area as she made a call. Their game on SVL was up next.

"Hi, I miss you!" she said excitedly.

She heard the melodious laugh from the other end of the line.

"Thanks for the lunch. It was delicious! I felt so-"

"'Loved'?" she knew she was being teased. "Ang corny mo po."

"Hey, I may be corny but you still fell in love with me!"

"I did. Ginayuma mo siguro ako."

"Nuh-uh! You just couldn't resist the Bea de Leon charm!" she teased back.

"Whatever," her girlfriend laughed.

"Love, I wish you could watch our game," she whispered.

Some of her teammates were approaching.

"I am ready to watch na! I'm wearing one of your old jerseys and holding a de Leon banner already. How traitorous do you want me to be?"

She laughed at that.

"Really? Okay, then. I still wish you could watch me live sometimes."

"Love, Coach Tai is calling me na. I love you!" she whispered again.

"I love you, too! Good luck! I know you can do it, Love!"

That was enough to boost her confidence a thousand times.

Before the game, she checked her phone once more and saw her girlfriend and sent a picture of her. Her girlfriend really was wearing her jersey last year and was holding a banner while winking at the camera.

Her girlfriend was so adorable and so damn hot!

After the game, as they were leaving the arena and boarding the coaster, she saw that her girlfriend sent a video.
