Later that evening, the boys are cleaning up, already getting a lot done on the first day. Just as the boys are leaving, Liam sees a guy kissing Sloane's cheek. Sloane walking out.

"I'll catch you guys later," Liam says, hitting Javier's chest. He jogs over to Sloane. "Hey Sloane."

          "Hi," she smiles a little.

"You know, for someone that doesn't work here you sure have been hanging around the office all day," Liam smirks, beginning to walk with her.

          She doesn't answer.

"Who was that suit-wearing, goody to shoes?" he smiles.

"What one? Most of them are like that," Sloane chuckles.

"The one smacking his lips on ya?"

"Oh," she slides her hands inside her blazer pockets. "Eric Madsen. My boyfriend."

"Ah, gotcha. So, you're into that type huh?"

"And what exactly is that type?" Sloane asks, walking down the street towards the heart of downtown.

"The suits. The "I'm better than everybody" kind of people," Liam smiles.

"I never really thought about him that way."

"Because you're probably distracted by his good looks or some shit like that," Liam laughs.

"I could say the same thing about you," Sloane says, walking into a lingerie store.

"And what's that supposed to mean?" Liam smiles, following her into the store.

"You haven't seen me in a month, and you're following me around now?"

"No," Liam shakes his head, about to continue as the store manager walks out from the back room.

"Hey," she smiles, "you're late," kissing Liam's cheek.

Sloane smirks, stepping away to look at a piece on a rack. The lady hands him a set of keys as she picks up a few things and goes to a fitting room.

Liam heads out a few moments later.

After trying on a few things and picking out a couple items she makes her way to the counter to pay. The dark-haired manager behind the register smiles at her.

"I don't think I've ever seen a man in here as many times as I've been in here," Sloane smiles, pulling out her credit card.

"Yeah that's my brother," the lady laughs. "He was gonna pick up my kids and take them home for me."

"That's sweet of him," Sloane smiles, looking out the window and seeing Liam climb in his truck.

She runs her card through as Sloane then signs. "Thank you, have a good day," Liam's sister says after bagging Sloane's items.

"You got to be shitting me," Liam laughs seeing Sloane across the room bar. Javier and Liam back to their usual spot later that evening.

"Come on, let me get her this time," Javier pleads with Liam.

"Sure buddy," Liam pats his shoulder. "Good luck."

Javier smirks as he walks over to Sloane, sliding this hand down her arm lightly as they begin to talk. Liam watches the whole time, leaning against the bar waiting for Sloane to ignore him. They begin to dance.

"I'll be damned," Liam laughs, taking a sip of his beer, a tan blonde walking up to him—exchanging conversation.

After a few minutes Liam glances and sees Sloane walking across the room, Javier walking to him with a huge smile on his face.

"What do you think of that huh?" Javier smirks, playfully shoving Liam, interrupting Liam and the girl.

"Beginners luck. Maybe she hasn't figured out who you are yet," Liam winks, the girl walking away.

"How do you get a different girl every time we come here?" his buddy laughs.

"Have no idea," Liam also laughs, shrugging his shoulders. "Where'd your girl go?" he smirks.

"Said she was coming back," Javier says, looking around for Sloane.

"I'm gonna use the restroom real quick," Liam nods, slapping Javier's shoulder and heading to the restrooms.

Sloane steps out of the restroom as Liam walks back, they both make contact.

"Who's stalking who now?" Liam smirks.

          "Still you," Sloane laughs.

           "Be nice to my buddy."

"Always. Be safe with that girl," Sloane grins.

"Oh, and by the way," Liam smiles. "Did you meet my sister?"

          "Why?"

"You thought I was flirting with her at the lingerie store, didn't you? Don't lie."

"It really doesn't matter what I think. You can do what you want," Sloane smiles as she walks out to the crowded room.

Walking out of the bathroom a few moments later, Liam walking back over to Javier, "Get her number?" he asks.

"She said to get it from you."

"Well I hate to tell you buddy, but she played you," Liam smirks.

          "What?"

"I don't have her number," Liam laughs, patting his defeated friend's shoulder.

"Dammit," he groans, leaning against the bar. "I wanted to see what she was all about. She's all you talked about for two weeks."

"Sloane went into my sister's shop, and I followed her in there to get Danielle's keys, and I'm pretty sure she thought Danielle and I were a thing."

"You two already sound like you're married," Javier laughs.

"Yeah, she's doing some suit wearing frat boy. I saw them when we left the building the other day."

"So?" Javier grins. "She still had sex with your broke ass. Got her hooked man. You're such a manwhore" he laughs, taking a sip of his beer.

"That's my middle name," Liam smirks, finishing his own beer. "Liam Manwhore Pearson," he rolls his eyes.
