For Lauryn_UnionJ, I really hope you'll like it!:)

You try to focus your tired eyes on a stack of paper in front of you, but you are too exhausted to even understand the words written in front of you. Your hands are shaking from too much caffeine and letters are starting to dance in front of your eyes. You quickly look around the empty and dark library of University of Notre Dame where only few students are either studying or sleeping on big uncomfortable piles of their study books and notes. Once again, for the zillionth time tonight, you rub your eyes and look at the empty coffee mug, internally cursing yourself for drinking too much coffee. You may be exhausted, but it seems sleep will not be an option once again. Not because of studying, but from all the caffeine in you. And to make things even worse, you get your roommate's text message. Going by the nonsenses she has written, she is completely wasted, whether attending one of the dorm parties, partying in a bar or hosting a party in your room.

With a sigh, you try to focus back on your notes, but don't succeed, so you decide to pack up things. Just in that moment your phone rings again. You quickly look at it and see a number that you haven't seen in more than a year. A tiny smile appears on your face: "Andres Lee, is that really you?"

"Y/N/N, I can't believe I am hearing your voice!"

"You could've called earlier, dummy. What's going on?"

"Just wanted to hear your voice...and tell you I am coming back to Minnesota for weekend."
"Too bad you said that now, I am at the University and I have so much to study. I don't think I'll be coming home anytime soon..."
"Come on, don't be such a geek. Come home at least for a day or so," he tries to convince you, but you don't give in.

"Sorry, Anders, I really can't. I live on caffeine and have no social life at all..."
"Then I guess I will have to come over to the university for a bit."

You groan: "That's nice of you, but I what will you do here?"
"Keep you company, study with you...Relive my college years."

You hear him laugh on the other side of the line and start laughing as well. Gosh, you missed hearing his voice so much ever since he has finished university. The thing is, you and Anders have known each other for a long time. Even though you didn't leave near, you attended the same high school, where you were the quiet one, always reading and knowing more about sports than any other girl, while Anders was...not the most popular guy, but he did have some good friends. He is three years older than you and he was the your protector. Tables turned as he finished high school and left you alone. Those were the worst three years of your life, but when you got to the university, things got better for you as well. Again, Anders and you attended the same school for one year only, but during your time you didn't need anyone to look after you. Even though you were a freshman, you became the captain of Notre Dame Fighting Irish women's basketball team.

"Hello, Y/N, you still there?"

"Y-Yeah, I am. Anders, are you sure you want to spend your free time with me?"

"Do you really want me to answer? Of course I am. Just tell me where are you staying."

You tell him your address at the university, but you don't really expect he'd drop by.

Few days pass and your finals are coming closer. Even for you, the last year is hell, no matter how great student you are. You are suffocating in the amount of things you have to read, study and memorize. You sleep behind your desk in your dorm and barely eat. One morning you wake up to the sound of someone knocking on your door and your phone ringing. Groaning, you open your eyes and while you try to get your phone, you throw a plate off the desk.
