I quietly walk down the royal, dark hallway. I knew this mask was the only thing keeping me alive at this point. One slip of my appearance, and the king will either kill me or do the unspeakable. It sent shivers down my spine and sent my heart beating.
No, it's fine. All I have to do it survive the night in this castle of Brofar, and it will be ok. Once I assassinate the king, there will be no Pewdarkpie in Yondertand to worry about.

I take a shaky, but deep breath. My boots leave echos on the floor. I only hope Stephano is ok, serving as a slave duck under Felix again. Doing kitchen duty must be torture! It's the one thing I'm glad I left back home; cooking. Never was I very good at it.

My eyes widen when I hear footsteps behind me. It's fine. Just stay calm, Bay. It can be Mark, coming to tell me that I don't need to do this anymore. Or perhaps it's Mad Jack coming to sweep me off my feet! Oh, how enchanting that would be. Right--- focus.

I pull my duck mask lower to fit it right over my face. My breathing sharpens. The footsteps behind me remain that way, echoing with my own steps.

Before I know it, I'm shoved against the wall. My arms are pinned above my head. To my fear, it is the king, looking at me with narrow eyes. I tense up but remain at a polite posture, even if my legs are trembling.

Felix leans closer to my face, his breath against my mask. Even so, I still feel it in a way.

"There's something about you that I find weird," he whispers.

"What is it you mean, your Majesty?" I shakily inquire, "I did my best to look fabulous upon you."

A grin creeps onto his lips. A creepy one, giving me shocks of fear.

"Of course," he says, "we're all fabulous here."
