PROLOGUE
I'm on the forest floor and I'm hoping to die, without him here I have nothing to live for. The last thing I remember is running after him then tripping and falling onto something rock-hard. A nomad looking for a mate. The next thing I feel is burning; all over my body. It's a thousand times worse than an oven or fire burn.
I lay on a bed when I wake up. I don't know where I am and the nomad is nowhere to be found. I reach my magnified senses out to find him but he must have left me during my transformation .I'm in a small house that is beautiful. I decide I need to hunt, I've decided that I will hunt animals because like him I don't want to be a monster. I want to preserve human life and protect it. Maybe I should be a doctor like Carlisle? I have a lot of time to think about it so no worries.
