Back at Patricia's house, Chiamaka woke up, so uncomfortable with the empty strange looking sitting room, when she then remember she was no longer at Davis house but now at Patricias’.

“follow me, I have arranged your own room. You can stay there for now. But if you choose to go get an apartment, I can be of help as well.” Patricia said with a smile as Chiamaka woke up. She had entered the sitting room to pick up her phone when she noticed Chiamaka had waken up.

“I feel very tired to do anything at the moment. Thank you so much for your help! I really appreciate!” Chiamaka voiced out with the little strength she gathered up. Patricia helped her and she followed.

When they got to the room and Chiamaka laid on the bed, Patricia sat beside it!

“When are you going back for your son?” Patricia asked.

“I do not know what and how to claim him. I have no significant proof to claim him and by the way, he looked happy and well taken care of!” Chiamaka replied in tears.

“And you want your blood to be claim by one who is not deserving? You are hurting and you need your son by your side at least. It will help you!” Patricia said and stood up, “Think it over, but do not over think, it is not good for you at this moment!”

Days passed and Davis got better. He asked for Chiamaka but they gave him the sad news and he sworn to look for her again.

Mrs. Lizzy too, had moved on and overlooked her doubt. There was no way the real owners of the child would find him. She was sure to clean up her mess! And Susan was well paid. David was also warned not to leave or open the gate if the gateman was not in.

Mrs. Lizzy returned home early and while coming back, she stopped to pick her kids from school. She wanted prepare food for her children, and when she got to the gate, she saw John quarreling with two ladies. And so she stepped out of her car to know what was the problem.

“Hey, hey, what is going on here?” She called for attention and they kept quiet, “John, who are this women and what do they need from you?” She asked.

“Madam nah these two women oh! Since two hours now, dem dey say you dey for house. Say they wan see you.” John replied and rolled his eyes at ladies.

After hearing John's explanations, she turned to face the ladies with furrowed brows.

“And you decided to start a match at my gate. Who are you and what do you want?” Chiamaka asked and then, David walked out of the car and went to whisper to his mother.

“Can we go in and talk about this, please?” Patricia asked and Mrs. Lizzy sighed.

“Meaning what? Do I know you from anywhere? Why should I welcome you to my home when I do not know you.” Mrs. Lizzy yelled.

“Okay and since you like open discussion so much, let me air it out so everyone will know of your wicked acts. I am only here for my son!” Chiamaka said.

Mrs. Lizzy, John and David turned their heads to face Chiamaka.

“Yes, I am here for my son! My name is Chiamaka and I am the girl you,...” She paused, “I can not complete that because I do not wish for my son to hate you.” Chiamaka said as shock was written on their faces.

“Ah!” John exclaimed.

“How dare you come to my house to claim what you do not have? What kind of nonsense blackmail is this? Who sent you?” Mrs. Lizzy roared as she tried to over up, she then turned at David and urged him to leave, “Go back to the car! Do not mind these ladies, okay?”

“Are you not Mrs. Lizzy? And you say blackmail? You are very funny! Do I look like a broke person to you? The money I have in first bank can buy your so called mansion. You want to talk of this nonsense you call a car, you need to see mine! I even sell them because I can't have too much cars around me when I barely drive it and you tag me as a blackmailer? You really do not know me!” Chiamaka orally attacked back and Patricia stayed behind and admired the boldness she saw in Chiamaka.

“Ewwwwwooooo, this one expensive oh!” John said out of shock.

“Will you get inside the house, stupid idiot!” Mrs. Lizzy shouted at John.

“Oh, yes, yes ma! But... No forget! I will enter inside ma!” John delayed before he entered the house and shut the gate.

Since the gate was shut and Mrs. Lizzy could not see him, he then placed his ears at the small opening, so as to eavesdrop.

“You have the guts to insult me in my home? You better leave from here else...” Mrs. Lizzy got interrupted.

“Else, you will kill me? You think I have forgotten how you left me to die! The thing is, I did not come here to exchange words with you. I just want my son back!” Chiamaka said in a shaky tone.

“Who told you my son is yours?” Mrs. Lizzy asked as she remembered the scene of how she carried the baby and left Chiamaka even as she was bleeding. She began to wonder if the mid wife had betrayed her, even after all the money.

“I got it from a clean source! I do not have time to waste, when will you hand my son over to me?” Chiamaka asked.

“That will happen over my dead body! I can not let someone claim my son. I do not know you or the lies you tell. And since you have no proof, how will you go about that?” Mrs. Lizzy asked with a smile.

“I will try to proof it in any way I know I can. I will fight for my son, I swear, I will get justice for what you did. You will pay!” Chiamaka said, as tears began to form.

“Try your luck! I will get my lawyers ready anytime.” Mrs. Lizzy said as she walked closer to Chiamaka, “Look at me, you can't do anything because I will fight for him as well. Now let me ask you, who does he call mummy?” She mocked and tears rolled down Chiamaka's chins.

Chiamaka wanted to physically attack the woman but Patricia held her back. Mrs. Lizzy who felt victorious, walked majestically to her car and hopped in.

Chiamaka hugged Patricia tight as she tried to endure what she heard.

Mrs. Lizzy blew her car horn and John opened the gate. She drove pass Chiamaka and Patricia, smiling, while at the back of the car David looked through tainted glass and felt sorry when he saw how Chiamaka was crying.
