The system was only interested in putting my body under a man. I was a train that charged forward solely for sex, without considering my dignity or mental state. I was a poor passenger who accidentally ended up on this malfunctioning train by mistake.

A courtesy notification popped up. I chose option 2. Soon, tears poured out of my eyes as if someone had turned on a faucet.

"Y-Young master?"

"I'd rather die than leave this place!"

I said, crying loudly. Devan, startled by my wailing, looked confused and unsure of what to do. He hurriedly took out a handkerchief from his pocket and handed it to me. I wiped away my tears with the handkerchief, blew my nose, and then spoke.

"You thought I'd say that?"

"...What?"

"It was a joke."

As I casually shrugged my shoulders and handed him back the handkerchief, Devan blinked his eyes. He looked at the wet handkerchief for a moment and quietly crumpled it, throwing it into the trash bin.

"Let's go to the nearest place. We have to come back soon."

I pointed to the nearest station from our current location. It was the station in Deserent, a city near a Desert.

"Yes..."

Devan replied hesitantly. It wasn't surprising that I was treated as a lunatic.

In any case, our temporary shelter was decided.

Deserent was a major city near a large Desert, and all the buildings were made of red clay, giving it a clean and organized feel. People were dressed in loose garments that covered their noses and mouths with thin, sturdy hoods, extending down to their ankles. Naturally, the way Devan and I were dressed would stand out. One person wore a thick black cloak, while the other was wearing armor.

We changed into the clothes Devan had brought, covering our faces with hoods. Though it had only been a few days, disguising ourselves this way made it feel like we were really on the run.

"But, Devan, do you have any money? I don't have any."

The money Khan gave me to use in the garbage village was almost gone. If necessary, I could sell the pocket watch Khan gave me along with the money pouch, but with the Alexis family crest engraved on it and the watch itself is old, it didn't seem like it would be of much help.

Since entering the palace, I could live luxuriously without spending money, and in the Magic Tower, just following Cain around was enough. When spending time with Andrea, he covered all expenses. In other words, it was possible to live a luxurious life without spending a penny.

Devan bowed his head. He took out a small pouch from his pocket. It was a pouch with a mix of gold and silver coins.

"This should be enough for a few weeks."

"It might not last a few weeks. I'm thinking about three days."

"Yes, master."

Devan explained that Deserent was a popular tourist destination where many traders and travelers stopped before crossing the desert. Therefore, there were well-established hotels here.

"A hotel!"

There was a hotel where I used to live. Although I had never been there before, hearing the familiar term made me feel relieved. With my enthusiastic insistence, we decided to spend three days at that hotel.
