Basically I want to clear things up:

Izuku is 15 (his current age) and no he doesn't have a quirk.

During the flashback he's 4(age may change so pay attention pls)

what's happening at the hospital is that erm... how do i say it.

Due to childhood trauma-memory loss (it's a thing, look it up :D)

So, bc Mrs. wants to protect him. she only says the bare minimum of what had happened.

Yes, those people who were Izuku's "foster parents" are truly bad people.

What you'll see in the next chapters (that aren't out yet) is that basically Izuku is experiencing/remembering two types of trauma.

One real.

And one imagined.

Although the imagined one is the one he believes ~ (idk if this is a spoiler or not) but it's a real event.

So in summary, Mrs. doesn't tell him the whole truth, nobody does, and he believes this imaginary trauma that's also real, and he "tries" to "get over it". But it's not that easy.

He just acts as if he got over it.

All i can say is that, trauma is real. whatever his brain is showing him is real. OKAY?! that's the bottom line.

I'll tell you why Mrs. does that later.

idk by writing this out i confused myself. just go with the flow. Mrs. lied and he forgored. but every trauma is real. okay there. phew. gods that was so hard to get out. 💀🙄
